Erik's Pov:
I sprinted down the hallway of the basement trying to get out of it as fast as I could while carrying Karla in my hands.
"Erik over here hurry!"I heard Ravens voice say as I looked and saw her and hedwidge Standing at a entrance way making me walk faster."How is she?"Hedwidge Said as I walked past them quickly.
I turn around to face them as Raven covers her mouth and gasp as she looks at a passed out Karla in my chest."Oh my god! What did he do to you?"Raven Said as she placed her hand on Karla's arm.
"He branded her look at her leg."I Said as a tear rolled down Raven's face as she look at her thigh and saw there was a Huge J burntly printed on her skin."It looks fresh and infected we need to get a doctor and my mom."
"Okay um I'll take her to room I guess while you get your mom.Hedwidge you-""I'll go with Raven.I figure you and Karla need some time to your selves."Hedwidge Said.
"That's the most amusing most unannoying thing you've ever said out of your mouth.Keep up the good work and I'll consider your ass a friend."I Said sarcastically as Hedwidge rolled her eyes.
"And the asshole is back."Hedwidge Said as I chuckled and glared at her."He never left."I Said as I started walking from them and made me way to Karla's room.
As I got to her door I opened it quietly as I step in closing it behind me as I sighed.I walk over to her bed and softly placed her on the bed as I grabbed a cover and laid it on top of her.
I look down at her as I smile and brush my fingers through her hair as she was still sleep.I hear a crying noise as I pop my head up and hear the baby crying making me smile.
I back up away from the bed and walk straight over to where the cradle was as I watched as my only daughter cried for the first time ever since she was tragically born.
"Shhhhh it's okay baby,daddy is here."I Said as she started getting quiet with her cried making them soft."It's nice to finally meet you.Your beautiful.Just like your mom.I wanted a better proper meeting with you you know to make memories but it's just didn't happen.But that's Ok cause at least your here.We'll make our own memories when your off this dumb fuck ass machine.Excuse my language.You would've had a brother but he didn't make it like you did Princess and it hurts both me and your mom but hes with the ancestors like your grandpa's."
"But trust me when I say this I promise baby I'm gonna protect you and your mom with every breath in my body.Even if that means losing my own life again then fuck it.If that means that you guys,My princesses will be happy without someone ruining your life's then I'll take the risk.Thats how much I love you two.Karla your mommy and You Ny'amoni Lashay Killmonger-Stevens will always have a place in my heart no matter the circumstances."I Said as the cries finally stopped.
"Wow did you pick her name without me?"A soft voice said as I looked up and smiled as I turned around to see Karla looking at me."Well look who is finally up? You've been sleep for a good 15 mins.What a record."
"Oh piss off I heard your voice and I woke up."Karla said as she tried to move her body and wincing making me sit on the bed."Hey hey hey if you keep moving your gonna make it hurt more."I Said talking about her thigh as Karla sighed.
"Since when did you become a certified doctor Mr.Killmonger Stevens?"Karla said making me smirk."Ever since I laid my eyes on a beautiful girl when I was 6 I knew I was destined to protect her,Ms.Lance."I Said as she blushed as I grabbed her hand and started rubbing it.

"I missed you like a lot.I don't blame you for leaving."Karla blurted out as I nodded and leaned over to kiss her on her head."I missed you too.I was stupid for leaving I should've never did that knowing it would hurt both of us even though we were already hurt."
"It's okay Erik I love you nobody else I learned that the hard way obviously."Karla said as I shook my head and turning my head to kiss her on her soft lips.She places a hand on my cheek as she kissed back making me smile.
"I love you too."I Said as she smiled and the door busts open making both of us jump revealing Raven."Holy fuck Raven! The hell are you busting down doors for your are not the police!"I Said.
"My bad! I wanted to be extra and make a grand entrance.Maybe a little too grand but here's the doctor and my mom."Raven Said as she stepped out the way to make room for Miranda and A doctor to walk in the room.
"Mom!"Karla said as Miranda sighed and sat on the bed embracing Karla into a hug."Miarmor I'm glad you are okay!"Miranda said as she looked at me and mouth thank you as I nodded.
"I'll give you guys some space."I said trying to stand up off the bed but being stopped by Karla's hand pulling me to sit back down.
"No I want you to stay in here with me."Karla said as she let go of the hug between her mother to look at me making me Sigh and nod."Ok princess."
"I'll stay."
