We Were Just Standing There...

We were just standing there, playing on the baby swings. The toddlers around were just staring at us awkwardly as we swung back and forth triumphantly. As Rebecca held out the camera, she winced in pain.

"Arm cramp!" She hollered so that everyone including the father of the toddlers stared at her.

As she recovered, Rebecca snapped the photo of her and Loulou just in time before it came pelting down...

Loulou and Rebecca had many creative ideas in mind, one including a parody, all about one of their favorite spreads, Nutella! The chocolate hazelnut spread was simply irresistible, and the girls had to show their emotions somehow! Loulou and Rebecca were taking pictures at the park, as they needed to release their album cover. They never were meant to be at the park, at that time as well, and it all started with Eve and Abby.

They needed somebody to take our photos and we wanted it to Eve and Abby who did it. They could not find them and Rebecca thought maybe they would be at the park., so they headed out to the park which was across the street from Loulou's household. For their long journey, they needed a vehicle. Loulou knew just the thing.

"Motor scooter!" Loulou cried as she picked up two helmets and gave on to Rebecca.

They also needed something to brush their hair with, as it was very windy outside since they wanted to look drop down gorgeous in the photos. Rebecca, being terrified of the motor scooter, reluctantly got onto the back, but as Loulou started to go, she fell off. This cycle continued again and again. Once Rebecca was sturdy, they headed off.

They bumped up and down as they headed down the rock-covered road, They swerved in and out of cars,

Rebecca yelling,"You're gonna kill me!!!!"

Drivers were giving them strange looks as we swerved past their cars, Luckily, they did not get ran over but came very close to a blue Toyota and a black Ram. Loulou parked the motor scooter by the end of the parking lot for the parents to drop off their kids for baseball. They looked high and low for the girls. They looked under bushes and in the bouncy castles. Loulou and Rebecca did not realize how close they were to a ditch leading to the lake. They got off on the wrong side of the scooter and tumbled down with their hairbrushes. They screamed as they neared the end of the dramatic fall. Rebecca landed on Loulou making her body go flat.

"Hello? Am I still alive?" Asked Rebecca as if they were daydreaming.

"YES!" Loulou responded angrily as she got up from under Rebecca and dusted herself off.

They decided to trudge on, for a good photo may be coming by the lake. The ducks and horns from the cars made sounds to them as they trudged closer to the wild duck filled the lake. At last the only sounds were from the duck's wings as they flew to the other end of the lake in terror and disbelief that two kids walked up to their habitat. Loulou took out her phone and clicked the Camera App.
"Let me take it!" Rebecca said excitedly to Loulou,"I'm a much better selfie taker!"

Loulou shrugged in agreement and they both made dumb faces as the flash almost blinded them. Loulou and Rebecca were both shutting their eyes as a reflex to the light. Rebecca had apparently forgotten to turn the flash off before she took the photo. The sun was already enough but this was just too much for the girls.

"My eyes!" Cried Loulou and Rebecca in unison, then they went on like nothing occurred, taking another photo.

Soon they had taken pictures with terrified ducks and on babies swings, which brings us back to the storm.

The clouds were getting suddenly dark. Loulou and Rebecca went on completely ignoring this fact, which was why they got pelted, It suddenly rained down from the black sky, hundreds of raindrops landing on the girls. Loulou jumped off the baby swing in fear from ruining her favorite non-waterproof jacket, but Rebecca had more difficulties. Her leg was stuck in the hole of the swing, and it took almost a full minute before she silently pried it out in shock at the rain. She was wearing a cold shoulder shirt with no jacket, so her shoulders got injured from the sudden hail.
"Ouch!" She yelled to Loulou, but she was too busy trying to work the motor scooter to rush to Rebecca's aid.

"We have to run!" Loulou cried.

"Good! I've always hated that thing!" Rebecca called.

"Go", they screamed.

Loulou was about to respond to Rebecca and nag to her but the rain was too much to just stand there for. Loulou kicked up the kickstand and made a countdown to Rebecca.

"Three," She called,"Two, One!" They both ran with equal speed down the cement path leading to the parking lot away from the park.

The only sounds as they ran were from Loulou and Rebecca cursing under their breath and the hail drenching both girls. Loulou took one last glance at the baby swings and saw a one-year-old. She had short brown hair and was put into a twin stroller with a baby boy which Loulou guessed was the same age as her. They both gave Loulou a "baby" look, eyes wide and mouth drooling. The father ran trying to catch up with the girls but the twin stroller was making him slower.

Then a miracle happened. It was as if God had sent them a gift from heaven; Loulou's mother! As Loulou and Rebecca neared the entrance of the park, Loulou's mother pulled up in her gray Toyota Camry. She was laughing hysterically at them.

Loulou and Rebecca neared the car.
"Go, get in the car, save yourself!" As she pushed the motor scooter to the trunk.

Rebecca took it literally and got in the car, and soon realized she was struggling.

"Do you need help?" Rebecca asked, but did not hear Loulou's pleas for help, so she just sat there warm and drenched in the car.

Soon, she realized Loulou was struggling harder and asked again,"Do you need help?"
This time Loulou's mother answered for her,"Yes she needs help!"

Rebecca got out of the car and shut the door urgently behind her. She helped Loulou fit the motor scooter in the back then they both sprinted to the safety and warmth of Loulou's mother's car. Loulou's mother turned the car around and they saw the father running with his twins, and they laughed again. In fact, they laughed all the way home, and they saw warm towels from Eve and Abby by the front door.

"Three, two, one!' Loulou's mother called and they all ran out of the car, getting closer to the house.

Loulou forgot to shut the door and she skidded to a halt, he shoes turned hot from the quick stop. The rain was not in her favor and she ran back, shut the door, and took a towel. As they got dry, Loulou and Rebecca told the story to Eve, Loulou taking her wet jacket off and throwing it on the rug.

This was a story the girls would never forget, not for a long time at least!

What Really Happened: Loulou and Rebecca were standing outside taking photos together when it started to rain really, really hard. Everything here was true except for the falling down the ditch, they just walked down.
