Holly
The captain came out to the front deck after comforting Devin. We we're still at the shore and haven't left yet, which led me to wonder, "Are we planning to go back?"
"No point," answered the captain, "Devin is depressed, Jazz is gone, and Jayzahn is too powerful. If we go back, we'd be committing suicide."
"But Jazz is still back there!" squirrel Dane shot up on my shoulder.
"Yeah, we should try everything to get back our best friend," added Taylor.
"Especially if we have to individually saw off every head from those soldiers," Simon said, showing off his chainsaw arm.
"Lets not forget, Radja is in trouble," Gabby added. We all seemed to be against Rabia's decision. "Guys I'm doing this for your own good," she said, "I'd go right back if somehow Jazz was found on the ship."
"HEY! I FOUND JAZZ ON THE SHIP!" every jumped and looked at the direction of the shout. It was Maryssa climbing out of the cellar. "Did someone say 'Jazz'?" Devin swung open the office door almost hitting Natalie, who quickly moved away from the swing with a flinch. Jazz emerged from the cellar and up to the deck, "'Sup suckers?" Devin charged at him and grabbed him into a hug.
"I thought I killed you man!" Devin said with a tear running down his cheek.
"You're about to by the way you're crushing my back," Jazz answered. Devin let him go. "But yeah, I'm alive," said Jazz smiling.
"Disappointing," I saw Rabia say under her breath.
"So, what's this thing about you killing me?" Jazz asked looking lost.
"Long story short; Jayzahn hypnotized you and Devin murdered you," Natalie explained, "Like he almost did with that door."
"Hey, I'm sorry," replied Devin, "And murder is not the way I'd put it."
Jazz spoke up, "It's alright. That was a clone."
"Wait," Gabby said sounding irritated, "So you've been here safe and sound the whole time?"
"Yup, but don't get your knickers in a knot, Gabriella. It wasn't all in vain," Jazz said, "I've been researching ways to defeat Jayzahn."
"Then I guess we should go now, captain?" I asked. Everyone else looked at her eagerly. Then she reluctantly answered, "Fine, but after dinner." We all cheered.
"Wait," Maryssa spoke out, "Where's Algerita?"
Algerita
Somehow, I managed to sneak past all the commotion during the fight, up the stairs, and outside to the top of the tower where Radja was locked up. I found the keys on a wall and unlocked Radja's cell. He had his hands held up with metal cuffs attached to the wall with chains. He looked unconscious so I tapped his shoulders. His head bobbed then he fluttered his eyes open then looked up at me. "Algerita?" he spoke weakly.
"How do you feel?" I asked.
"My head hurts and my arms ache," Radja answered, "They've taken my katanas and I don't know where they are."
"I think I've seen them in a machine on the terrace."
"Then we should get them," he said, then we walked out the cell and headed toward the door to the terrace, walking cautiously near the walls. "So where are the others?" he asked as we walked.
"I don't know," I answered realizing my mistake of coming here alone. Heck, I don't even have a weapon and I can't fight.
"So you came here alone?" he asked with a look of concern in his eyes.
