Dearest, Pick Me (Yuto x Yuya x F!Reader x Yuri x Yugo)

Chapter Seven: Lunch

Shun lightly groaned as he heard the bell bring. When this happened he was already awake, trying to process everything. Though (y/n) still looked like she sleeping. A content look was on her face, she continued to drift in and out. (y/n) then violently sneezed, this made the both of them jump. Now the two were fully awake. (y/n) laughed and scratched the back of her head. Shun sighed, he then got up and grabbed his bag. He offered his hand out to her, she took it and got up. (y/n) brushed off her skirt, then were off to lunch.

Shun tried his best to converse with her. Though it wasn't working that much. He doesn't know what she's into or not. So he decided to pick something more universal. Dueling came to mind, then decided to ask her about that. (y/n) chuckled, she mentioned about her cousin teaching her about dueling. Though she never really stuck with the rules. She could never remember them that well. (y/n) told Shun that she does have a quite of few cards. However, they were all of her cousin's former cards. So some of them lost value, but some of them are actually good.

(y/n) placed some hair behind her ear as they entered the outside. Shun guided her to the tree where everyone sat. There they were, the friends. Ruri was there, she was braiding some girl's hair. The girl with the pink hair had a very sweet smile while talking to some of her friends. Yugo was wolfing down some food, as in Yuto he was calmly eating. Shingo was speaking about some crazy things as a female with green hair looked annoyed. Another male sat there as well, he looked strong, in fact was strong. He's tall and covered in muscle. Wow, does he get out.

(y/n) oddly felt out of place here, she just felt so alone in this moment. Well, she is new here, and she hardly knows anybody here. Except for him, she finally caught his hair. That green-red hair, it looked so fluffy as usual. (y/n)'s eyes widened, it was him. Yuya Sakaki, her childhood friend that she missed oh so much. (y/n) smiled and took a couple of steps forward. Yugo noticed and waved at her. Though she didn't bat an eye at him. Yuya then finally caught the stare. His eyes widened as well. He then smiled.

"(y/n)..." Yuya spoke as he got up, "You're here."

(y/n) nodded, "Yeah, I am... I missed you so much, Yuya."

Yuya walked over to her, (y/n) held her arms open. Yuya also held his arms open, he then went for the hug. (y/n) bursted into tears, it felt so good to have him back in her arms once more. It felt so nice and warm. Yuya was always soft and pleasant to be around. His smiles, and his voice would cheer up anyone. (y/n) missed him so much, it's been years without him. (y/n) continued to cry on his shoulder. Yuya rubbed her back.

Yuya then had some tears stream down his own face. The both of them pulled away. The two of them started to laugh. They wiped off one another's tears. More and more laughs came from their lips. Shun smiled lightly as he watched this scenario. He then took his place next to Ruri and Yuto. Yuto nudged his shoulder and smiled a bit. Shun just ruffled his hair and pulled out his lunch. Ruri then stuck her tongue out at Shun. Meanwhile, some of them looked so confused. Yuzu looked confused as ever. Who is this foreign girl hugging Yuya?

Why was he crying? (y/n) then calmed down a bit before she could speak again, "How have you been? You look great!"

Yuya chuckled, "I've been me. I got really into dueling, but my grades are really okay. I'm trying my best though! They're getting up there! What about you? What are you doing here?!"

(y/n) smiled, "I live in Japan now! Isn't that great! My family moved back here due to some job reasons, so I get to live here again! I was so excited to see you again!"

Yuzu then spoke, "Yuya who is this?"

Yuya turned around and laughed. He scratched the back of his head, "Where are my manners? Yuzu, meet (y/n)! My childhood best friend! (y/n) meet Gongenzaka, Rin, Ruri, Yuzu, Shingo, Yuto, Yu-"

(y/n) cut him off, "Don't worry, I know some of them. Though not all, but thank you so much Yuya. I appreciate it!"

"Come sit down with me!" He walked back to his spot with (y/n), "We have so much to catch up on."

(y/n) sat down and smiled, "Of course we do!"

Rin smiled, "I like your hair! It's really pretty!"

(y/n) blushed, "Oh thank you! How sweet of you!"

The rest of the lunch was filled with smiles and whatnot.
