A New Loser

"Do we really have to go? I like it here" I said to my mom

"You know we have to go , your father got a new promotion at his job and its taken in Derry Maine. We need this" my mom explains to me as if I didn't know the reason

"I know that, but can I just stay here?" I ask with a frown "All my friends are here, most of our family members are here, and what about Star?" I look over at my horse through the window with the look of worry and guilt

"She's coming with us, but it'll take a while for her to arrive to Derry" mom said "And it'll be fun. Me, you, and your dad-"

"Step-Dad" I blurt out

My mom sighs and walks over to the coach

I walk over to the coach and sit

"I know things are different for you, getting a step dad, moving, leaving everyone you know. This must be really hard for you. Trust me, its hard for me too. So can you please pull through on this...for me" my mom gives a half smile that I couldn't resist

"Ok...I'll pull through" I gave in

"Thank you" is all my mom said before she pulled me into a hug

"Now that we got all that over-with, go finish packing up your room" my mom pulls out of the hug so I can get up

I walk up the stairs and walk to my room to finish packing

I close the door behind me and started thinking

'She's right about one thing, everything is changing and I hate it. Why did my mom have to marry that douche of a guy she calls 'Husband', he's the worst. He doesn't let me get a say in things and he's a total creep' I thought

Soon enough, I started to continue cleaning and packing up my room

{The Next Morning}

I didn't sleep at all, it felt like I was sleeping on a pile of rocks

I sit up and examine the space around me

"This is really happening, Im really leaving my childhood home. Not only that, but Im also leaving the farm I've been growing up in" I said to myself

A few moments later, I hear a knock on my door

"Come in" is the only thing I can say at the moment when it's this early in the morning

The door opens and my mom's head pops out

"Good morning my beautiful daughter" my mom smiles

"Good morning my wonderful mother" I smile back

"The moving truck is here, so if you have any boxes to give, make sure to label them" she says

"Got it" I nod

"Okay, if you need me, I'll be down stairs" my mom closes the door

I stand up and head over to my closet to get change

{Time Skip}

'Okay, its been two and a half hours since I woke up. I took down all my posters and packed them away neatly, I labeled most of my boxes, and I finished cleaning my room. Now I have to throw the two trash bags out' I thought

"Moving is going to be the death of me" I said out loud

I grab the two trash bags and head downstairs

"Hey mom, I'm going to take out the last of the thrash, is there any trash you want me to take out?" I ask

"Yeah, there's some in the kitchen, use the metal wagon, its next to the door outside" my mom tells me from the other room

I go outside to place to wagon in the direction of the junkyard and put the trash bags inside the wagon. After that, I go back inside to grab the rest of the trash

I walk in the kitchen and see four more trash bags

'You have got to be kidding me...' I sigh

I finally gave in and take two bags in each hand

"I really hope this would all be worth it" I said out loud

I went back outside and place the trash bags in the wagon

"I'll be back" I shout to signal that I'm leaving

"Be careful" my mom shouts back

I nod my head and start walking
