So, this is more of a question/theory, rather than a fact.
Are Firescales genetic?
I'd say no, but then I remembered what Soar said.
I quote,
"I doubt Scarlet would find this useful, but among other things, it appears that I can father dragonets with firescales."
So this implies that there is some sort of "firescales gene" or something.
However, then there's the matter of how firescales come to happen.
Although it hasn't been confirmed, firescales are most likely the product of a twin egg where in it one twin sucks the fire out of the other, therefore one dragonet having too much fire (firescales) and one dragonet having too little.
So... how does that work?
