My phone go off which woke me up. I sat and answered it "hello" I said tiredly "hey meadow are you still going to the summer festival" I heard it was Damon "yeah of course I am" I told him "then get ready I'm picking you up in 45 minutes" he said "okay" I said to him, hanging up while getting up from my bed to get dressed. I went to my closet to get dress in the outfit I had already picked out weeks ago for this event.

You finally got dressed and went downstairs to wait on Damon. After awhile I heard the door bell ring so I got up to answer it. It was Damon "ready" he asked me "of course" I said. I grabbed my bag as we headed out the door. "I love your outfit" Damon said looking at me. Damon and I had been best friends since I had started the working at the music shop which had been 5 years. "Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself" I said with a smile.

"So who do you think is going to perform this year besides 5sos" Damon asked as we walked up to the festival which wasn't that far from my house "I don't know I hope it good people" we both laughed. Damon and I had been going to the summer fest for 5 years. It's like a tradition, we go every year. We made it to the fest and heard for the stage to see who was all playing tonight. I had made it to the stage first as Damon fallowed a little behind. I saw the list and the bands that are going to perform and the time:

Andy berserk
Green day
All American rejects
All star weekend
Blink 182
My chemical romance
Imagine dragons
Fall out boy
All time low
Marshmallow
And lastly 5 seconds of summer
(Not exactly in that order)

My eyes went wide with excitement because all of my favorite band are here this year. "Damon look" I said excitedly "I new it" he said with a chuckle as we both laughed. After our little fit of laughter we walked around to see what they have they always have new thing every year. "Ooo ice cream" I almost scream as I ran to the booth "hello what would you like" the lady at the booth asked nicely "I'd like to have a double scoop of chocolate ice cream in a cup please" I told her "that would be $2.05 please" she said "here you go" I gave her the money "thank you" I said nicely "your welcome" she said as I walked off to go back to Damon. "Why did you run off" Damon asked "sorry they had chocolate ice cream" I told him as he started to laugh. We started to walk away when someone bummed into me and me drop my ice cream "what the hell" I said turning around. I was expecting some kind of douche bag but it was Ashton "oh Shit my ba-" he stopped with shock on his face "meadow right" he said as I nod "hi Ashton" I said with a smile. "It's nice yo see you again" Michael said "yeah nice to see you again to" I responded. "I'll have two scoops of chocolate ice cream please" I heard Ashton said to the lady at the booth "that'll be $2.05 please" the lady said "thank you vary much" Ashton said. "Here you go" he said as he gave me the ice cream he just bought "why are you giving this to me" I asked "it's for making you drop yours" he chuckled "oh, thank you" I told him. "Well it was nice meeting you again, but I have to get ready for the show" he smiled as he said it "okay, it was nice meeting you again to, can't wait to see the show" I smiled "see you around" he said "see you" I said back as he walked off. After Ashton walked off we head to the stage so we can see the show because it was about to start. The first ban that was playing was All Time Low. Then finally it was time for the last band to perform, 5 seconds of summer "thank you all for coming out and supporting the band tonight, we appreciate it" they said as they played my favorite song jet black heart.
