Chapter four

You and Piers stay out almost all day getting to know each other, shooting the dead and had a little competition of shooting the dead the most.

After a while you and Piers was sitting on the hood of the Jeep laughing.

Piers looked at you as you put your head on his shoulder while smiling and relaxing a bit, he saw you look down at your engagement ring.

"What happened to your fiancé?" He asked.

You breathe softly and sat up "me, Chris and my fiancé was on our last mission till our break, my fiancé got hurt and used the C-virus (I DONT KNOW WHICH VIRUS, LEAVE ME ALONE) on him and became a mutant thing to save us, he had enough to get out and get the antibiotics but he stayed behind and sacrifice himself for us" you said trying not to cry "I still have nightmares of him.... I lost him and I'll never get him back"

Piers wrapped his arm around you, you put your head back on his shoulder "I do miss him".

Piers breathes softly and held you close to him "l drive back to base" he said softly.

"Good cause I'm tired, I forgot how heavy a sniper was" you said as you got off the hood and gave Piers the keys "don't kill us, I'm putting my life in your hands" you looked at him dead in the eyes "you kill us, I'll kill you in the after life".

Piers laughed a bit, you both got in the Jeep and began driving back to base, you had your head on the window while sleeping, piers looked at you and smiled "goodnight (y/n)".

"(Y/n)".

You groan and rolled over.

"Babe, wake up".

Soon you felt soft pair of lips in your lips, you slowly wake up, your vision was blurry but you smiled "Piers?".

"(Y/n) it's Chris" Chris said.

You squint your eyes and saw Chris hoovering over you, you sat up fast which made you bump heads.

"Shit" he said while holding his head

"God damn it Chris" you rub your head as you sat up, you looked around seeing you were in your office "how did I get here? And also why did you call me babe and kiss me".

"Piers carried you in" he said as he sat down "also no I didn't kiss you or call you babe".

You looked down as you touched your lips 'then who kisses me' you thought.

After a while you Chris and his team was sitting and eating breakfast, your eyes was on piers who was sitting with the Rookies, Chris saw you and nudge you.

"What" you looked at him.

"If you like him ask him to the dance" he said.

"No and you still put those dances on".

"Yes" he said as he stood up, he grabs your hand and pulled you.

"Chris no" you pulled your hand back trying to make him stop.

"Yes (y/n), your gonna stop looking at him and asked him out".

"Chris no, I can't ask him out".

Everyone stopped and looked at you and Chris arguing.

"I remember that" one of the older soldiers said which caught Piers attention.

"Haha yea, Chris forced (y/n) to ask Piers to the dance cause she was so nervous" the other soldier said while walking with his friend

Piers looked at you, you were over Chris's shoulder, he smiled softly and stood up.

Chris walked over to Piers with you struggling to get out of his grip "Piers" he said.

"Captain" he said.

Chris pushes you close to Piers, you took a deep breath.

"Pierswillyougotothedancewithme" you said really fast while hiding your face in the scarf, it was quiet, that when you thought Piers left but you head a small laugh and a hand on your head, you looked up and saw Piers smiling.

"Sure" he said which made you blush.

'God that stupid smile of him' you thought.
