NOTHING WAS THE SAME

Chapter Four; New friends; New feelings

There was a knock on my door, I looked at Nickole as she rolled her eyes before answering the door.

"Oh hey Sammy" she said stepping aside for him to enter. I sighed inwardly, Samson's been acting so weird with me lately and quite frankly I've had enough of it. I rolled over on my side and faced the wall, as far as I was concerned he came to see Nickole. There was silence for a while then the door opened and closed, I rolled over to tell Nickole exactly what I meant but paused when I saw Samson sitting at my desk staring at me. I stared back.

"How may I help you Samson?" I asked him. He shifted in his seat.

"Hello to you to Lershai" he said half smiling. I wasn't going to let him off that easy.

"That's not what I said" I replied still staring at him. His smile vanished.

"Lershai what's wrong with you?" He asked looking worried. I snorted, he thought I was going mad again little did he know it was all his doing.

"Nothing is wrong with me Samson the question is what the fuck is wrong with you? All of a sudden your acting as if I don't exist one day and then I do another! And there has to be something wrong with me?! No I'm just sick and tired of having to figure out what I've done that is so bad that you don't want to talk to me for almost two weeks Samson. You're just like them if I knew you was going to be like this I would never have come to this uni" I said wiping the tears off my face. He sat staring at me for the longest time before coming to sit next to me.

"Lershai I'm sorry. I know I was out of order to you but I'm sorry. I needed time to think I couldn't get used to the fact that you actually like Andrew, I thought I'd have you forever" he said quietly. I looked at him confused

"Sammy I'm not going anywhere, I promise, just because I'm showing interest in someone else doesn't mean they'll take your place, you'll always be number one in my life Dude" I said smiling at him. He chuckled then hugged me

"Remember you said that yeah" he said kissing my cheek. I sighed out of relief.

"Get ready tho we're going out" he said jumping up and walking out the door. I rolled my eyes and went into the shower quickly. 20 minutes later I returned to my room bobbing my head along to Mazi Chukz's One in a million. I creamed my skin in record time knowing that Nicks would be ready before me. I pulled out my black joni jeans and paired it with my black backless bodysuit. After slipping into them I decided on wearing my Jordan black cats then turned to start my hair I sighed I needed to do something to it. I slicked my edges and packed it into a high ponytail the ends falling to the middle of my back. I quickly put on some mascara and eyeliner and a little lip gloss before picking up my bag and slipping on my gold hoops. Checking I had everything I locked my door and knocked on Nickole's.

"Come in" she called. I threw myself down on her bed an watched her finish getting ready, she looked nice in a burgundy skater skirt and black long sleeved crop top. Her hair was straightened down her back, I nodded my approval.

"Take off your jacket let me see you" she said starting on my eyebrows. I slipped out of my jacket when she was finished and gave her a little twirl, she smiled.

"You look buff; we need to get you some weave or something girl" she said laughing, I knew she was right.

"Come on, Samson's waiting outside with Jayson" she said ushering me out of her room and locking the door. We walked out of campus and met them at Samson's car.

"You alright girls" Jayson said without taking his eyes off Nickole. I laughed as we got into the car

"Oh yeah Nickole I know you're going out with Jayson, I love how you never told me" he said driving off, I laughed and he looked at me thorough the inside driving mirror
