Epilogue
I walk for a couple of blocks, but I have no idea where I am. I pull out my iPhone and figure out that I am a couple miles out of Maroubra, which is fine with me. I call Ashley but I get her voicemail.
"Hey this is Ashley and I am currently not available right now, probably doing something fun with the family," I roll my eyes, "leave a message! Beep."
"Hey Ashley, its Parker. Look there has been some drama, so I am gonna be gone for a while. I don't want you or dad to worry. I will be fine. I just need to disappear for a while. Don't try and contact me I won't have my phone. I will call when I get a chance. Love you guys."
I leave the same message on my dad's phone, and then I delete all the contacts on my phone. I delete any information that will allow anyone to find me. I need to get away and think. I start walking, knowing that this will probably be the longest journey of my life.
