? Will Alone Be The Answer ?

This is a short story thingo for a school contest that i might enter...

i need some feedback and help to try and make this a winning entry....

they had to be about Lost, Found, Alone or Together...

and by the title it is Alone that i'm trying to aim for

please help i need this in by next week and other short stories may be posted as well.

? Will Alone Be The Answer ?

What do you do when you've used up your 'call a friend?' and '50-50' still won't help you answer the million dollar question? When you have waited your whole life for a time like this just to get a question you couldn't answer. Would it be easier to walk away than lose the game that you may have already lost? The question that you have stared at for only a few second seems like forever. The host speaks allowed but your ears get blocked and you can only read his lips but you already know what they are saying. Your throat goes dry and you forget about everyone around you. Your eyes lock on the 4 words that stood for answers. You feel alone on the podium, the crowd is only there to see if you go home with anything, they aren't there for support, not to make you feel welcome; it just makes you feel more isolated. The host needed an answer so you picked the one word that was running around in your head, alone. You hope with all your might that the answer will turn green to prove your instincts to be correct; otherwise you will feel more alone and secluded than you have ever felt before.
