Sry I realized that I put it in first person not 3rd. I'll switch back promise.

I sat down on the couch, vanilla ice cream in one hand, the remote in the other. I was spending yet another lonely Saturday night alone in California. All my roommates had plans, either hanging with their boyfriends and girlfriends or with friends. I switched the tv show from "when ghosts attack" to "bring it on" and began to eat the ice cream. My dog drac joined me on my bed.
About halfway into the ice cream, I heard the door slam from downstairs and then someone walking up the stairs sniffing. In walked one of my roommates Hunter Rowland. His face was red from crying.
"Hey What's wro-" I began.
"Shhh tell me the truth here." He said.
"Ok what." I asked kinda annoyed but sympathetic.
"Did you see lea making out with another man at the party last Friday? Cuz I just found out from Loren that she did. Me and her are friends but I'm closer to you. I trust you. Don't lie to me. Did she or not?" He spit out quickly, wiping tears.
I weakly nodded, putting another spoonful of ice cream in my mouth. I felt so bad telling him but he wanted to know. I watched as his face went straight blank. It was a long second before he broke down. He sank to the floor crying really hard. Drac got up and ran to him to comfort hunter. At first he was lenient but then he grabbed him and pulled him into his lap and dug his face in the fur. I sat awkwardly, wondering if I should comfort him or stay in bed. I made the decision and decided to be a good friend so I got up. I sat next to him on the floor as he gasped for air while sobbing. I wrapped my arm around him and leaned my head on his shoulder. Drac licked him in the face, trying to make the tears go away. Hunter made a pitiful laugh realizing what drac was trying to do. Then he leaned his head on yours and began to wipe his tears again.
"Thank you." He said. "I needed someone to comfort me."
"Anything for you hunter. You know I love you and I never want you to get hurt. And If you do, then I'll be here to comfort you and cheer you up." I said kissing his cheek in a friend like manner. "Want some ice cream?"
He nodded and I got up, helped him up, then sat on my bed and shared the ice cream container. He looked at me and smiled.
"Your a good friend." He said.
