when i came out, you engulfed me in another warm hug. "stop crying please..." you whispered into my ear. i wanted to cry even more when i heard that. but i held back. "let's go."
"where?" i asked, confused.
"you'll see." you replied with a mysterious smile on your face.
you drove me to somewhere i had never been before. a forest in the middle of nowhere. i looked around, confused. "why did you bring me here?" "just wait and see." you led me to a clearing with hundreds of flowers. my breath hitched. it was beautiful. but something felt wrong somehow.
"scream. just scream. scream all your worries away. there isn't anyone for miles. as loud as you want."
curious, i did so. it was like a rainbow had just formed over me. hundreds of butterflies of every colour you could imagine flew up from the flower bed. it was soothing and amazing but, something was wrong. very wrong.
