Unpredictable

Chapter 1

Charlotte took a deep breath in and watched her icy breath exhale like smoke. It was a sunny morning in California. Charlotte was walking her favourite walk, it was the last time before she moved on to university, her parents said she wasn't allowed to take her dog but she decided to sneak it in the car anyway. After all Charlotte wasn't popular just because of her looks, she had big circular glasses, long brown hair, braces and freckles. She had eyes as beautiful as an ocean and soft skin, but because of the other reasons her dog was her only true friend that wasn't biologically related to her.

Her dog was called Tucker , he was a beautiful Australian Shepherd. He had long silky fur which was black, white, grey and brown and her eyes were pure blue and hazelnut brown. Tucker was only a puppy but Charlotte loved him so much already.

Charlotte finally arrived home, she got her neatly packed bags and put them in her parents beautiful dark grey car. Charlotte turned her head and smiled, she had just seen her cousins Wendy and Olivia they had come to say goodbye. Charlotte wrapped her arms around them. "Goodbye."said Charlotte's cousins. Charlotte felt a tear slide down her cheek. The journey was long, as they had to travel to England by plane.

They were now at the university, Charlotte was in block R3 with a pink key.

"Sweet, my key's my favourite colour, wait there, I left my purse in the car." Charlotte was very eager to get to the car probably because it wasn't her purse she wanted, it was Tucker she needed to get. When she arrived she had a bag that was quite still considering there was a young, playful puppy in it. Charlotte had been teaching it to do this for the past month."It's a good thing I went, there was a bag left in the car, she said this hoping not to blow her cover. She then kissed her parents very quickly and said "okay bye, it's best if you go now ."

"All... right then, goodbye," said her mother as they left.
