Clark POV:

Kara has been here for 2 weeks and she has finally allowed to go around Metropolis then to Smallville to see Ma and Pa because they are dying to meet her. Bruce has been working with her for the most of that time, she met the main leaguers and instantly connected with J'onn. I think she and Bruce had formed somewhat of a friendship and I can tell he cares about her.

Kara entered the cafeteria where me and Diana were waiting to go, Kara had borrow some of Diana's clothes since she couldn't wear her only outfit round the city. I look at her reassuringly we hadn't had enough time to bond or talk so we were going to try today. "You ready to go?" I ask her "Yea, where to first?" she returns "Up to you." I tell her with a smile. "How about what is the name umm ah shopping because I need Earth clothes, then to where you work which Batman told me was the Daily Planet." she says happily. "Ok"

We arrive at Metropolis and Kara is very excited, "Oh Clark I am so sorry but something popped up and I have to go but I will meet you at the Planet ok." Diana says apologetically, "Its ok you can go." Kara says taking the words out my mouth. I glance at her then she shrinks down and puts her hands up as a shield with a frightened look on her face "I'm sorry please don't hurt me!" Kara says with her voice shaking. "Kara I'm not going to hurt you, Bye Diana, don't worry I've got this under control." I say before Diana reluctantly leaves, let the shopping commence.

  We meet Diana at the park she glances at the bags I've got in my hands and laughs "You had an eventful ti..me ... ha ha ha ha, great Hera." Diana says composing herself and I give her a stern look. "So Kara how do you like the idea of being a Earth girl?" she asks "Well she is certainly got the shopping part down." I say and both girls laugh "Well I like it but I just wish I didn't have to you know, I wish I was still on Krypton." she answers sadly "But Krypton's gone, and I'm here not on Apokolips so yea I'm happy." she says optimistically, she's going to be a optimist, even after everything .

We arrive at the Daily Planet and I'm met with a confused Jimmy "CK what are you doing here you asked for a day off, not that I don't like hanging out with you and who's the hot blonde with Diana over their?" he asks pointing to Kara drooling. "Oh yes this is Kara she is my cousin, its a long story she is my only blood relative it turns out she is also from my world but her pod got knocked of course and landed on Apokolips and for the last 2 years being trained and abused by Darkseid. But she is innocent." I say in a whisper since he is one of the few non superhero that knows my identity.

"How old is she?" He asks "15, why?" I say glaring at him "Just wondering, hey I'm 2 years older than her wait that means she was 13 when krypton died, does she remember it. Wait does she have the same powers as you?" the man said with a childish grin "Yes. Kara come over here I want you to meet Jimmy." I said ushering her over here.

"Yes Ka.. Clark umm nice to meet you Jimmy." she says shyly "Good to see you again Jimmy how are you?" the love of my life asks to my best bud. "Great Diana thanks for asking. So Kara how are you finding Metropolis? Would you like a personal tour?" Jimmy says flirtatiously why was he flirting with her  "That would be great but my cousin has got it covered and Metropolis is nice and I might want to stay." the last daughter of Krypton answers clearly oblivious to what Jimmy was leading on and he looks disappointed and I smirk.

"Well I have to go and Clark make sure you talk to Lois she would love to meet Kara." He says as he walks off camera in hand "Will do pal." I say and notice Diana with Kara in the elevator so I rush in before the doors close. "So Kal what do you do here?" Kara asks smirking "I'm a reporter." I say.

We run into Lois "Smallville what are you doing here, isn't it your day off?" she asks then looks at Kara. "I'm here to show Kara where I work since she was very intent on it." I say before she could ask and Kara puts out her hand and Lois shakes it. "Nice to meet you Kara, how do you know Clark?" the reporter asks. "He's my cousin." the Kryptonian responds then leaving to look through the window.

"Adopted I'm guessing? Because don't you have no blood relative living?" Lois asks me."Actually she is my blood cousin, she was presumed dead but was in a coma, she was kidnapped and only woke up 2 years ago." I answer using the cover Bruce gave me. "Oh she's been through a lot, Clark you might want to send her to a therapist. Look after her will you." The woman says "I will." I say as she walks off.

Its now late afternoon and me Diana and Kara are all flying to Smallville whilst Kara tells us stories of Krypton and occasionally what happened on Apokolips. As she is telling me of a story that she told me on Krypton when I was a baby I realise that we are family and I don't want to lose my cousin because she is about to make everyone's life a hell of a lot brighter.
