Getting help
On the following Monday Liz went to school and told the school's councillor and told her about everything that happened. She articulated her about how she verbally bullied and cyber bullied by girls at the school, her self-harm cuts and suicidal thoughts and attempts and how she was being abused physically by her family and got sexually assaulted by her horrible father. The school counsellor told the police about the abuse at home and sexual assault and Liz's family got taken to jail. Her mother was jailed for eight months, her brother had to do 6 weeks community service and her father was imprisoned for ten years. Liz got a foster family who treated her right and gave her love and care. Liz had sessions with the psychologist to support and comfort her to get through her troubles. The girls who bullied Liz were suspended from school and had to do 2 months of community service.
