"Hold on... steal?" Karina asked, her voice full of disbelief. She stared at Jungwon, eyes narrowed in judgment. "How can you casually suggest committing a crime?"
Wonyoung, as calm as ever, shrugged. "Jungwon has the skills, Sis. Jay's his partner in crime. They'll slip inside when the museum closes and grab what we need."
Karina looked at Wonyoung, still trying to process. "So... you're saying you two are just going to break in?"
"We'll need Jake," Jay said, cutting in. "The security system at the Korean National Museum is tight, and the CCTV is everywhere. We'll need someone to manipulate it."
Heeseung nodded. "I'll ask Jake to join us. We can't move forward without securing Qingbai first."
Karina clapped her hands, a sarcastic edge to her tone. "Wow, impressive task split. And here I thought I'd be stuck in a normal situation, but now I'm part of a criminal plan."
Soobin shifted awkwardly, grinding his teeth in discomfort at the conversation.
"Alright, let me break it down," Soobin started, his voice more serious now. "I'm the messenger. I can deliver messages across centuries using any medium—letters, tools, whatever it takes—to HQ, where Jake and Sunoo will decode them for the chief or other wanderlust. Wonyoung is our beauty and brains—she's not getting her hands dirty, but she's a history, geography, and language expert. She's the one who knows how to navigate all the admin and logistics. Jay's our warrior—strong, determined, and sometimes rich. We'll need extra money along the way. Jungwon's the silent operator, the craziest one. And Heeseung, our leader, is the all-rounder. He makes the decisions and delegates." Soobin paused, then smirked. "Hope that clears things up."
Jay clapped his hands. "Well said, bro."
"Yeah, and Wonyoung and Ningning help us a lot with surveillance," Jay added. "We wouldn't be able to pull this off without them."
Just then, Jake entered the room, a laptop in his hands. Apparently, Soobin had sent him a message without anyone noticing.
"You want me to hack into the museum's system again?" Jake asked, looking directly at Jungwon.
Jungwon nodded.
"I hope they haven't updated their system in the last six months," Jake grumbled, opening his laptop. Sunghoon's eyes widened.
"We can use that here?" he asked, shocked.
"Only mine," Jake replied, his tone dry. "But wait—when exactly are we planning to break into the museum?"
"Tonight," Jungwon said casually, shrugging.
"Good," Jake replied. "I'll stay in 2024 for a while, then."
Karina mumbled under her breath, shaking her head. "I'm still not sure stealing is the best idea."
Heeseung shot her a sharp look. "Just think of it as... borrowing it," he said, trying to reassure her.
"Wait—this could work," Sunghoon said suddenly, his eyes lighting up.
Karina groaned. "Please, no more ideas, Sunghoon."
"I like the idea of 'borrowing' instead of stealing, but I'd rather not get arrested again," Jungwon said, his tone light but serious. "But if we can do this without breaking the law, I'm all for it."
"No," Karina said firmly, shaking her head. "I'm not going along with that."
Sunghoon grinned, unfazed. "Trust me, sis. It'll work."
Jay raised an eyebrow. "How? Explain."
Sunghoon smirked. "One of the museum curators' sons has always had a crush on my sister."
