Long fingers rest at a pale temple, soothing circles easing the tight skin. Jeongguk sighs, dull eyes drifting towards the open corridor that he watches gloomily.

It had been a week since the pair's almost kiss, Hoseok still rambling on in absolute disgust at what he had walked into, the others quick to send their boss teasing smirks paired with wiggling eyebrows.

"God, you're disgusting."Hoseok shudders, revolted eyes judging him from where he lounges, limbs splayed over the cream couch, "All lovey and all. Fucking killed me, from the inside out."

Jeongguk sends him a filthy glare, flipping him off as he diverts his attention to the stack of papers that await his attention, "Keep whining and I'll make you sure you have a painful death."

He hears a scoff, before the older pipes up, offence lacing his voice, "Rot in hell bitch."

If it had been another who had dared to insult him, Jeongguk wouldn't have hesitated to beat the daylights of them but all five males had earned his acceptance and he couldn't imagine a life without him. They had been the ones to raise him after all, after his disappointment of a father.

Taehyung had secluded himself to the safety of his designated room, the oak door closed firmly, shutting out the six males from his fragile form. He accepted the meals that we were sent consistently to his room, paired with a sharp rap to his door. The little male wasn't foolish enough to deny the delectable food that Jin would leave behind the door. The divine scent had the small boy's mouth watering as he demolished the meal in the snap of fingers.

He had declined the pleads from his new friend, Jimin to emerge from his temporary cave, huffing loudly and snapping at the older to stop irritating him.

He wasn't mad.

But rather confused, his pure mind unable to draw to a conclusion on why the raven haired male had tried to display such intimate actions towards him that night.

He refused to believe that the older possibly liked him, finding the thought far fetched and simply a yearning in his heart.

He didn't deny the small fondness he held towards the male, even if he had only spent a tiny portion of time in the other's company, something about the way Jeongguk treated him as if he were the most exquisite gold in the world made his heart flutter in contentment.

"Bad heart!"he whines, pouted lips directed to his chest, "Stop being weird."

He believes he shouldn't hold such feelings to the older, for the man had tried to kill his parents. What type of son was he to fall in love with the man who had tortured his father?

But then, he thinks, his father had done wrong. He had bought drugs, and for Taehyung, even the thought of the white powder terrified him to the core. The lessons in school had drilled the thought of drugs being a big no no. And his mother, what had she done to a Jeongguk's mum to trigger him so badly that the male had glared so viciously at the woman as of wishing she would disappear of the face of the earth.

It's all too much for the fragile boy. Too much drama in a small span of time.

Added to this, he was living in fear. When would the older become sick of him? He believes that their is no chance that he'll stay in this place forever. Alive at least. He didn't understand why he was here. Jeongguk had never bothered to explain his reasoning of loitering in his base.

Was he to join the the mafia?

He can't deny the flicker of excitement that lights in his core. His parents had always shunned him away from the lurking shadows of the world, showcasing nothing but rainbows and ice creams to the oblivious teenager. Such actions had moulded him into the sensitive, childish and adorable boy many knew of him.

Taehyung yearns for a chance to break apart from the restricted walls his parents had built for him. And now, with the two adults far from his reach he finally had the chance.

He bites his bottom lip, hesitantly, head dropping as his blonde bangs cascade over his forehead. The dying of his hair had been his first and last act of rebellion against his parents, after his friends had persuaded him into breathing freely for a while.

The look of disappointment upon his parent's faces had broken the poor boy's heart, the scolding he receiving that night having the boy in tears.

Somehow he had persuaded them to allow him to remain with the new colour, but he doesn't miss the disgust that flickers over their expression whenever their gaze falls upon his face.

His thoughts are interrupted by a soft knock on his door, silence creeping at his toes as he stumbles to his feet. Small fingers pry at the metal doorknob, the door opening quietly.

A tuft of silver appears in the blond's vision, Jimin's smiling face greeting him. The short males hold a tray of food, crescent eyes grinning up at him as he slides past the younger, setting the food upon a small table.

Once Jimin decides that the food won't possibly going to fall from where it is sitting, he whips around, a mess of limbs scrambling forwards to pull the taller into a tight embrace.

The blond is caught of surprise, caramel eyes widening as he staggers back to hold the weight of both himself and the other.

"I missed you."the silver haired male whines, words muffled by Taehyung's shirt, the clothing the boy had found discarded at the far side of the room.

Taehyung grins fondly, fingers combing through the male's hair gently as he mumbles his response, "I did too."

The two stay like that, wrapped in the other's embraces. Even if had been a few minutes since they had met they had already become attached to other, almost as if they were destined best friends.

"Yoongi's being a bitch."the small male mutters, brown eyes rolling in irritation but the younger doesn't miss the fondness laced in his tone, "Kicked me out for waking him up."

Taehyung giggles, lips quirking up at the thought of a disgruntled Yoongi, eyes heavy with sleep and a whining Jimin clinging at his legs. He can only imagine the colourful words the older must've thrown at the short male.

It hadn't taken long for the blond to pick out what type of personalities each of the five males held. He was observant in that way.

"So I'm here to annoy you!"he pipes up, a delighted smile gracing his pink lips.

"But what about the others?"he questions, for surely the other males are much more interesting to hang out with than him.

His cheeks darken at the younger's query, finding sudden interest in the polished wood, his voice meek and soft as he speaks, "I wanted to spend time with you."

Taehyung can't help the high pitched squeal that falls from his lips, fingers dropping from silver hair to pinch at the other's chubby cheeks, cooing at the red that dusts the pale skin.

"You're so cute!"he giggles, Jimin flushing somewhat harder and whining as he tries to escape from the younger's fingers.

"No,"he whines, pushing the blond away before jumping on top of him, grinning evilly and reach down to grab at his cheeks, laughing at the other's humiliation, "You're cuter."

"No you're cuter!"

"Well you're the cutest!"

"Nuh-uh!"

"Uh-hu!"

This chapter and the next will basically portray how both Tae and Kook feel about the 'almost kiss' so I apologise before hand if it gets a bit bland.
