I woke up to the annoying buzzing sound of my alarm clock, I hate having to wake up early for school..
I hit snooze and closed my eyes again.
After about 3 more times of hitting the snooze button, and laying in my bed with my eyes open, listening to that annoying ding, I decided that it was time to get up and get ready for school, or as I like to call it 'satans less evil brother'.
I managed to drag myself out of bed. I walkin to the bathroom, looking at myself in the mirror, making sure to see every angle.
"looks the same to me" I said out loud. I turned 17 years old today, but other than the tweets from various friends it feels like a completely normal day.
I turned on the hot water and as I'm waiting for the shower to heat up I take off my shirt and underwear (thats what I slept in deal with it).
By the time I'm done getting undressed the room was steaming. I hopped in, letting the boiling water take over my body. I washed my body and hair with my lush soaps. I shaved my legs and underarms. After I was completely clean i turned off the water and hopped out of the shower, drying off.
I went to my room to pick out some clothes, after few minutes I settled on some random Thrasher shirt and black skinny jeans that were ripped everywhere. I paired them with some black and white vans.
I put my hair up in a ponytail and started my makeup. I only apply some cherry Chapstick and mascara, since my skin looked very good today.
Now don't get me wrong I LOVE makeup, but it was just school, nothing special.
I grab my green JanSport bag, charger, phone, ear buds, and an extra pair of clothes before I started to make my way downstairs.
When I got to the kitchen door I could hear my mom and dad talking, well more like crying. "I just don't know what else we can do Ken, with Lily's medical bills in the house payment, this is our only option." My mom says through sobs. All I heard out of my dad was a light grunt.
I open the door to the kitchen to reveal my parents. I didn't want to get involved with whatever was going on so I just hugged them both. "I'm heading out to school, okay?" I asked in a reassuring kind of voice. "Actually sweetie, that's not necessary you were unregistered this morning" my dad stated. "What are you talking about?"
Just as my dad opened his mouth to reply, the door bell rung.
"oh, well... I guess that's them" my mom said crying harder, while my dad went answer the door.
I didn't recognize the boy who answered the door but he was very attractive. He had piercing blue eyes and a flower in his hair, not to mention he was like 728ft tall.
"Hi I'm Luke" he beamed. I just smiled slightly confused. "Mom, dad, who's this." I said hoping for some type of answer. "Well with you sisters hospital bills and utilities we didn't have many options" at this point I was beyond confused.
"Okay and what does hot stuff over there have to do with anything" I asked pointing to the boy, Luke. He just chuckled.
"Well you see you're going to be staying with them for a while" my dad said one big breath. "Wait. Hold up. for how long and what do you mean them?" I asked confused.
"Well forever, or at least until you're 18 then you can come back" my mom said "and it's him and a few of his friends, I'm so sorry, but we needed the money" I stood there in shock my face was for sure turning pale.
"So you sold me? You sold me to some guys that don't even know! isn't that illegal?"
Everyone just stood silently. I looked at the boy, and then back to my parents. "Okay, I understand. Tell Lily I love her." I said with tears streaming down my face.
"Nova, I'm so sorry. Please dont hate us. Its just all that I can think of right now. Please" my mom bawled.
"No, it's fine. Happy birthday to me, right?".
And with one last look I walked out of the house, heading to the unfamiliar car parked outside.

I honestly have no clue what I'm doing. Ive never written ANYTHING like this. But hey first time for everything I guess.
