Chloe:Chapter 1

"Chloe!! Auntie Frida is here!!"

Just when I was getting warm from the patronizing cold of winter in the Alps.

I braced myself and exited the thick layers of blankets on my bed and as soon as my foot pressed the tiles the cold air seeped through me as it freezed my veins.

My goodness does it have to be so cold!!

I exited my room with a thick mask of fake happiness covering my bitter annoyance.

Fridaaaaa!!!

I love auntie Frida but its just that she is a bit too much for a Aunt. I despise her love for wearing thin black stockings and her different coloured wool dresses.

Not so London at all.

"Hey sweetie" she greeted and bullied me into a hug.

"Hey Auntie Frida. How are you" I said with my sweetest voice ever.

I put a huge smile on my face and shifted weight to my right foot.

"I'm perfect sweetie and how's school here I mean London seems to be on New levels" she says in her accent.

She was referring to my previous school in London.
I literally spent one year there and I hated it.

"Oh really? But anyway Tahs is awesome aunt" I smiled.

"Tahs?"she asked.

"The Alps High school" I said.

She still looked confused but she looked more humoured than confused.

"So Frida what are your plans for your stay?" Mom asked. They soon started conversation adult stuff and I couldn't be more bored.

I spun around and made my way upstairs before I got on the platform I heard a knock on the door and I know Frida and mom weren't going to open the door.

I rolled my eyes and muttered a string of curses under my breath.

Uuuuggghhhhh

I spun around and walked down the stairs. I got to the door and flung the door open with full irritation.

"Hey Chloe" he greeted.

I regretted being so rude immediately and put on a genuin smile and hugged him.

"Hey Ashton,what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Frida aren't you proud of your niece" Mom said.

I pushed Ashton outside and closed the door behind me before Frida and mom started revealing embarrassing secrets.

"Hey sweetheart" He said and crashed his soft pink lips onto mine be for I could answer.

I felt butterflies in my stomach as his kiss tantalizes me as always. We pulled away minutes after and stayed in each other's arms.

"I missed you babe" I confessed and put my head on his chest.

"I missed you too look there's something I have to tell you Chloe..."

I felt uneasy as I nodded for him to proceed.

"I- I love you Chloe,you know that right?" I nodded.

"No matter how hard I try;no matter how many relationships I've had...nothing can ever replace the one we've had" I was confused.

"What do you mean"I started to worry.

"Oh Chloe" he put his hand on my face and caressed my cheek with his thumb.

"I'll miss you and all the time we had Chloe, nothing and no-one can replace you or my memories. I loved you Chloe but..."

He removed the promise ring I had given to him,opened my hand and then he placed it on my Palm.

"Ashton what are you doing?"I asked him.

"Listen Chloe I'm sorry but there comes a time where walking away is just best for everyone...

Chloe I'm sorry if this will hurt you but I can't be with you anymore Chloe. You are just not enough for me." He said and pulled away from me.

At that moment there was a severe pain that I felt in my heart as I watched him walk to his car without looking back.

"Why are you doing this to me Ashton" I said with a trembling voice but enough for him to hear.

"I'm sorry Chloe"He said after turning around to see me but turned around again,entered his car and drove away.

I dropped on my knees.

I felt dead.

It felt like the world had sucked me into a dark hole.

I dropped and layed down on to the ground with my eyes still wide open in disbelief.

Frida always told me to follow my heart but now? What do I do because my heart is split into two.

Frida. As much as I hate to admit that's who I need right now.

"Chloe Chloe!! Whst happened Chloe. Chloe are you alright"

I felt someone shaking me and panicking over me but I was too devastated to realise who but the voice was too familiar.

"Mom!!! Mom! Dad!"

I realised it was No'elle and she stood up and I felt her feet running on the ground.

I heard the door fly open and a bunch of people. Probably Gran,dad,mom,Frida and No'elle.

"Chloe!!" They said in unison.

I couldn't stop the tears from falling out but I cried without making a noise.

"Chloe sweetheart,Chloe tell your Mama what's wrong" She knew I was still breathing because this was my usual reaction to extreme shock and pain.

"Alyanna dear" Gran called with worry in her voice.

"I'm dying" I whispered and a new flow of tears exited my eyes soundlessly.

"Alta tell Frida what's wrong" she said.

After the severe shock I started shaking slowly.

"Oh no Eric she's going to have a fit call the ambulance please!!" mom said to dad but in a highly panicking voice.

She knew my condition and she knew how it started and how worse it could get. My heart condition is very very fragile and could easily be provoked.

It was getting worse...

I was shaking severely when I heard sirens coming closer and it eventually stopped.

I remembered the day Ashton and I were in a car crash.

I screamed

I screamed so loudly that it felt like a window was breaking.

I remembered screaming for a long time...then everything went black and I couldn't perceive the sounds of anything other than a small noise that cried at one pitch and one tone.

Something like a heart rate machine.
