Time to get my prep on. Nathaniel won't see it coming. I have been looking at this box for about an hour now. What lays behond this box is in the past, infact it is my past. I unpacked the box and picked out my most preppiest past outfit. I Decided on a yellow off the shoulder top with a criss-cross back, black short shorts, and neon yellow sandals. I put my hair in loose curls and settled in with some strawberry flavored lip gloss, blue eyeliner, and mascara. I looked in the mirror feeling disgusted. I even dyed my hair the previous night to a light brown. I quickly pressed "main" in the elevator and was soon in the lobby.
"Uhm, hey. Can you call Mr.Williams down here?" I asked hesitantly.
"Yeah, one second." she said while dialing a number.
It was a matter of seconds before there was a person walking towards me. The only thing is... he wasn't Nathaniel. He was insanely cute though..
"Who are you and what do you want?" He said hurtfully.
"I'm Carrie, and you're hot. I mean...uhm" I gushed covering my cherry colored face.
"You wouldn't be so bad either, I mean if you weren't so preppy" He said with a smile.
"I'm not a prep. I'm just trying to hurt a guy named Nathan in the same way he hurt me. I honestly hate glitter and the color pink. I'm more of a ripped skinny jeans type of person." I said slowly uncovering my face.
"Nathan, my brother?" He said with a raise of his eyebrows.
"Y-yeah he said something about me being depressed looking and not being good enough." I said with a smirk. "That's why I'm dressed like...ewh." I replied with a giggle.
"Really? Because he said something about someone losing their phone and he kept gushing about how hot she was" he flipped his perfect shade of black hair.
"Well too bad for him." I Laughed noticing that I didn't catch his name."Uh, hey. What's your name? I mean, it's only fair because you know my name." I smiled.
"Williams, Jace Williams" He said.
His brother adresses himself like that too. Ewh..
"You know Mr.Williams, you're not James Bond." I giggled.
"I like your attitude, Carrie" He Laughed.
"You're not so bad yourself, Mr. Williams." I Smiled.
"Hey, want to make my brother really mad?" he asked with a sly smirk.
"That's a stupid question" I Replied.
"Then go with me to this stupid thing. " He asked hesitantly with one hand behind his head.
He really is adorable. Isn't he?
" Jace, are you asking me on a date?" I asked while trying to hide my smile.
"Well, kinda. Yeah...I mean if you don't want to it's fine. I could always go alone." He said with a slight tune of embarrassment in his voice.
"Jace?" I Asked.
"Yeah?" he questioned.
"Shut up." I Smiled.
He looked suprised.
"I'll go with you. But on one condition..." I Said
"And what is that?" he asked still slightly embarrassed due to the redness of his cheeks.
"We make Nathan pay." I replied with a smirk.
I'm really going on a date with this cute guy. I mean, yeah the preppy me wouldn't like him but the new me does. I could go on for hours about his personality. And don't get me started on his looks. Too late. I love the way he flips his perfect black hair and the way his olive green eyes turn blue when he laughs, I even like the color red upon his cheeks when he's embarrassed. Listen to me! I sound like a starstuck fan fangirling over some lead singer of the hottest new recent boy band.
"Carrie?" Jace snapped me out of my train of thought.
"Yeah?" I answered a few seconds late.
"Just come up to my penthouse at seven. Here's my number." He said handing me a piece of paper with his number on it.
I can't wait to see how this plays out.
