Im standing in front of my mirror looking at my reflection. I settled in my look with a "little black dress", some black heels, black eyeliner, and my hair in loose curls. Atleast I don't look like a beach barbie anymore.

It's Only 6 pm. I have an hour to kill.

So like my own being I got lost in my music again.

I checked the time for like the millionth time. It was 6:30 So i might as well go up early. I quickly made my way up to Jace's Penthouse. "Hello?" I asked into the air.

"Hello there dear, you must be looking for Jace. Up the stairs to the first door on the right." A tall brunette woman said with a smile.

"Thank you" I sent her a smile back.

I quickly went upstairs to the first door on the right but heard someone singing.

She's the girl that I adore.. She had the world but she wanted more. She traded her smile for a plastic heart...

I slowly turned the knob and smiled to see Jace with a guitar in his hands. He looked up at me and shoved his guitar to the side.

"Carrie. You look great! I Like seeing you in a "Not-so-preppy" attire." He said smiling.

"I'm loving being back to my old ways" I said followed by a chuckle.

"You know it's always better to be yourself. Exspecially when you're that cute." He said still smiling.

"What was that you were singing..?" I questioned.

"You sure it wasn't my radio?" He asked hesitantly.

"It could've been.." I said.

"Anyways, lets go." he said completely changing the subject.

The car ride was completely awkward with silence. It was about a half an hour ride. I was relieved to be outside a huge house.

"Hey..you want to go in?" Jace looked at me with a questioning expression.

"Yeah." I say blankly.

So there I sat. On the couch. Bored as can be. Can this get any worse?

"Jace.. Can you take me home?" I ask with a pouty lip but Jace who was sitting next to me was completely ignoring me.

"Carrie, I'll take you home when I'm ready to go, otherwise it's just a waste of time" He replied minutes later.

So I get up off the couch and make my way to the door.

He thinks I'm a waste of time.

"Carrie!! Wait..I'll take you home." he said grabbing my wrist.

At that moment I see Nathan looking directly at us. Jace looks in the direction that I'm looking and then looks back at me with a sly look on his face. "Payback time. Just follow my lead" he whispers in my ear. Then randomly he kisses me then looks at Nathan and winks.

                 He kissed me.

He then looks back at me and smiles. He just stands there smiling at me. I can't help but smile back.

"Jace!" Some girl squealed.

"Ash! It's not what you think!" Jace spit out quickly.

"Then what is it, Jace?" She asked.

"I have no feelings for her..she isn't good enough for my brother and sure as hell isn't good enough for me.." He said while looking at me apologetic. "She's not even a good kisser." He added in and his words stung.

"Jace? Is that what you think of me? I'm not good enough for you? You and your brother are just the same. You act as if you like someone but then you go and throw them out of your life!" I say letting my tears flow freely. "Oh and I thought you didn't like preps. But seeing how your girlfriend looks, you must really be attracted to barbies." I added in and walked out the door.

Great, I'm stuck walking.

I pulled out my phone and dialed mom's number.

One. Two. Three. Four rings. Still No Answer.

Then the unthinkable happens and it starts raining. I'm so mad at Jace right now that I don't even mind it. If anything he's worse than his brother.

"Hey! Need a ride?" There's Nathan in his brand new Lamborgini.

"Does it look like it?" I spit out.

"Well, you're kinda drenched, so i'd say yeah." He replied with a chuckle as he opens the passanger door and I get in.

"Thanks.. " I say after about ten minutes into the ride.

"No problem" he says after a long period of silence.

"Can I turn the radio on?" I ask trying to break the silence.

"Go ahead" he says glancing at me then back at the road.

I turn on the radio to hear familiar lyrics.

She's the girl that I adore, she had the world but she wanted more. She traded her smile for a plastic heart...

When the song ended there was a radio talkshow man interviewing a guy named "Jace Stone".

"Doesn't my brother rock?!" Nathan Spoke.

"Your brother?! That's Jace Stone Not Jace Williams!" I said quickly.

"Didn't You Know? Stone is just a cover name." He corrected me.

The rest of the ride home was silent. Jace is the one who needs to be himself, not me!
