Chapter 12: The dragon of purgatory

Jeffrey walked through the woods, he was on a mission, another dragon he figured he kept getting the odd feeling that he was being watched by someone and that feeling only got worse as he walked deeper into the woods. Suddenly everything went black and white as if he was in an old TV  box. Jeffrey looked around, it had almost seemed as if time had stopped completely.  Jeffrey looked behind him and saw a tall hooded figure  with bones for wings. It was obvious that the angel of death was in front of him and he knew what it meant.  "so i have to fight you?" Jeffrey asked hoping that he would say no. The grim just shook his head "Is the question a matter of who? or why?" Jeffrey thought on it for a second "What do you mean?" Jeffrey said puzzled at the question. the grim just sighed "I am looking into your soul and so far what i see is someone just following orders to fight the dragon of purgatory but why? you defeated the other two but you don't know why you had to." Jeffrey thought of this and only remembered one dragon, "Three dragon shaped keys unlock that witch is at easy." The grim said with an ominous tone in his voice. Jeffrey shook his head and sighed "What do you mean tell me more." The grim laughed well what do you wish to know young Respin wolf." Jeffrey thought "What do you know about me and Respin?" Jeffrey asked and the grim chuckled "I see four lives all connected to one soul a wizard of the darker arts, an Egyptian Pharaoh that built the pyramids, a viking that protected churches from being raided and a young boy destined to destroy the ultimate dragon Orilue." The grim said leaving Jeffrey at an aw "But how do i get to these other memories?" Jeffrey asked and the grim raised his scythe "No more questions until you beat the dragon of purgatory." The grim ripped his cloak off and bones started growing and turning into a dragons skeleton  Jeffrey changed into his new found form that Balthazar and Respin called the god form and made a sword out of fire ready to fight this unholy beast. The dragon swung his tail and hit Jeffrey but the tail fell apart, Jeffrey jumped and threw the sword into the Dragons eye holes then stood under him hiding to figure out a plan. The dragon smelled around and then slammed his body into the ground and felt Jeffrey catch him to keep from crushing him. Jeffrey decided to throw the dragon then jumped on its spine poping the skull off he raised a sword at it then yelled "Talk" but the dragon laughed "You have no idea child, three keys the soul the body and the structure you defeated all three and now Orilue comes to put an end to the world and you late Respin wolf are the one destined to defeat him those little counsel members tricked you into bringing back their master." Jeffrey looked around afraid of what he had done then it all went back to normal, the dragon was gone the color was back and time was moving as normal. Jeffrey ran to the mansion he had to tell everyone everything.
