"You're not real. You're a shifter." Catherine screamed at the shifter who had made itself look like her best friend pinning Catherine to the wall. She reached around feeling for anything that could help her get away. Suddenly there was a gun shot and the shifter was dead. "Come with me." a voice yelled and Catherine obeyed. She ran out to the figure she saw in the moon light. "I'm Adam." he said as he grabbed Catherine's hand and ran. "Catherine." was all she said before he pushed her into a waiting black car. "It's okay. We're safe. My brothers will take care of the rest." Adam said and Catherine finally got a good look at him. He was beautiful. Blue eyes, blonde hair, and a wonderful smile. "So you're all hunters?" she asked earning her a laugh. "Yeah. My brothers are Sam and Dean Winchesters. They are kinda infamous in the hunting world." Adam told her. Of course she knew of the older Winchester boys. What hunter didn't. "So what got you into hunting? Since I guess you know mine." he continued. "My sister was killed by a vampire." she shuddered at the memory. "I'm sorry. Where are you staying? Dean will drop you off when they get back." he said looking out the window to see the others approaching. "Oh um. I just got into town at 6 this morning. So whatever motel is cheapest I guess." Catherine shrugged. "Nonsense. Come with us. I saw you chasing after that thing before it corned you. I'll convince the boys to let you stay." Adam said and put a hand over Catherine's.

******one year later******

"ADAM!" Catherine yelled as she pulled the blade out of the dead werewolf and headed out to find her hunting partner. That's all they were hunting partners much to Catherine's dismay. Since Adam saved her a year ago Catherine had fallen in love but it seemed Adam had not. She ran looking for Adam. Where could he be? Then she was tackled down and felt her leg twist in a horrid way. She flipped herself over and stabbed one last werewolf before passing out.

"Catherine please wake up. Please." Adam's voice rang through Catherine's ears. He got up and to the other side of the room facing away from the bed where Catherine slept. She woke up but closed her eyes when she noticed Adam wasn't looking at her and was instead still talking. "I'm sorry you got hurt. Your leg wouldn't be broken if it weren't for me. And I don't know what I'll do if you don't wake up. The bunker has been so much. I don't know. Happier. Cheerier maybe. With you hear. Sam and Dean adore you. Castiel thinks your great. And I. I love you. I really do Catherine. I love you so much. And I'm sorry I didn't tell you before." he turned and jumped a little when he saw Catherine staring at him. "Did you hear all that?" he asked turning bright red as he kneels by her bed. "Yes." she replied holding back a giggle. "And Adam. I love you too." Adam smiled and carefully pressed his lips to hers. Finally for once in a long time Catherine was truly happy.
