Soulmate Rain

Detention

uuuuurg detention, all because that piece of shit had to lose controll in the hallway. The principal couldn't just give us some writing stuff eventho I asked for hit.

The principal said "When you behave like children you get punished like children now don't ask for a way out or you'll have 3 weeks. And if you want to write so badly, why not do it IN detention."

So here I was writing, the fight hapened monday and its thursday today. The principal forced us into writing the rules atleast 3 times each day while sitting next to eachother he even said he would be the one watching us in detention to make sure we don't do anything.

So, today is thursday 16:45 detention ends at 17:00 and the principal turned on the radio for the last 15 minutes. There were  a few songs playing and they were good ones (luckily). When suddenly this happened 

"Sorry for the interuption but NASA just informed us of a meteor shower hapening in less than 5 minutes everyone please stay inside don't go out if you don't need to. NASA also informed us that there might be some landing on the ground but they will be really small pieces, The head of NASA said  'I don't know how they didn't realise this earlier that this would happen it seems like the meteors came from no where everyone stay inside this can be very dangerous if you're not paying attention to the road while driving. Electronic devices might crash or shut off so be be cautious. Once again, please stay inside.' If the music suddenly stops playing while the shower is hapening" the news-reporter continued. "It'll be from the electronics..." than it stopped the principal looked at me and Barry kinda scared somehow.

Than the bell rang its finaly 17:00, I don't care that the news-reporter said we had to stay inside I just wanted to go home. when I got out of school barry was standing beside me it was a bright day which made me a little bit more happy.

I looked up into the sky to see meteors stared falling, but wait... something else was falling too. It seems some sort of rain as soon as it hit me my heart started glowing, and Barry's did too. I din't know what was hapening. I said "What da fucking hell is this? my heart is... glowing?" It was glowing a bright pink, almost blinding when I looked at Barry his was Pink too the same exact pink as mine.

I looked at the street and everyone's heart was glowing but no one had to exact same color like me and barry. some had purple, green, aqua blue, etc. there were 2 people with blue but the girls blue was lighter while the guy's was darker, allot darker.

I just took my bike and went home. When I got home the meteors stopped falling, so did that 'rain'.  I don't know what to call it. When I got into the house my parents and sister were both scared something had happened to be asking if I was alright, I just said I stayed a little longer to watch and to see what was hapening.

My mom suddenly said " When me and your dad touched that rain our hearts glowed the same exact colour. Do you know what that is?" she asked

I just shaked my head not knowing what it was. When the TV stopped cracking the news channel got on. The reporter said "Good day everyone, like you could see 10 minutes ago there was a huge meteor shower, apparently it was in the whole world. everyone who looked at the meteors or touched the rain there hearts started glowing. Scientists are still trying to figure out what it is and what it means but people are already posting stuff about 'Soulmates' from the famous 'Wattpad' stories. No one knows if its true or fake but for now I wouldn't believe anything.
