The rest of the journey was quite till they reached Rosewood Academy.
There was no train station in sight. The place was foggy and weird sounds pierced their ears.Without warning the train halted. Madam Adrianne rushed in again ushering the students to follow her.
There were people standing with hurricanes and old parchments. The place was deserted except for an old house which was at an odd angle.
Emily and the other children stepped
out of the train. She learned that the parchment contained a list of students names.A smartly dressed man approached Emily and her friends. He bowed before them as a sign of curtsey. His greyish white hair peeked from beneath his black hat.
Her grandmother , her cat and parents stood with the other parents.
The people signaled the students to follow.
Unlike any fantasy there were a bunch of carriages awaiting them. The fascinating thing was that, they could speak.
The horses were fine Arabic stallions waiting to race through the haze of fog.
The horses raced each other like mad men.
To everyone's surprise the carriages began to speak and it introduced itself as Huffleton Carriage.
Apparently someone called Edwin Huffleton was bored and to amuse himself he created the speaking carriages.
The silence lingered on. Everybody watched as the fog cleared up, to show Rosewood Academy.
It was snowing outside so the children walked inside clutching their coats, shawls, jackets or sweaters, tighter.
The main hall was lit with torches that had a blue flame.
Both the children and parents were seated and the principal stood up.
A gust of wind swept through, bringing dread and news...
