Chapter 4: A Nightmare Becomes A Vision

~Regular Time~

I was sitting at a table thinking about our last job. Then Mira walked up to me.

"Hey Rosaria, how was your last job?" She said cheerfully as she sat down next to me.

"Ugh, awful. Keaton is always messing things up." I groaned in reply.

"Ya, you two are always fighting. Why is it you two always fight?"

"I don't know. He first started it. I've tried to be nice but he's just an idiot."

"I'll talk to him about it later. In the mean time, what is it you don't like about him?"

"Well, first off, he's an idiot. Second, he's always picked a fight with me for no reason." I sighed.

"Don't worry I'll talk to him. You are in a team after all, you must get along with him."

"Ya, I know. I'm going to go pick out a mission I'll do on my own."

"Alright, I best be going too."

Mira got up and walked away.

It's been at least ten years, what is it he doesn't like about me?

I got up and walked over to the request board. Our last mission was to save a village from a curse. It got crazy. I usually go on missions with Mira and Keaton, and sometimes Leon.

Let's see, what job should I get? There's; finding and destroying a demon sword, find a wanted monster, or search of a magic ring.

"Hey, your not picking a job without me are you?" Someone sneaked up on me and wrapped their right arm around me. I turn to see who it was, its Nash. Nash was my first friend when I first came to this guild (well, my age.)

~Flashback~

I was sitting with Leon at a table. He came up and sat next to me. "Hey your new here, right?" Nash asked.

"Ya."

"Well I'm Nash, if you need anything just come ask me." He had a big smile planted on his face.

"That's nice of you, but I have Leon to ask."

Nash look up at Leon. Nash put his arm on the table and rested his head on the back of his hand.

"Your going to ask this player for answer?"

"Hey you gotta problem with me?" Leon angrily said at Nash.

"No, it's just that... Your not the best influence on her."

"What does that mean!?"Leon shouted angrily.

Nash grabbed the side of my head that was facing Leon and whispered.

"But seriously, you can always ask me for anything."

"Get lost, Nash!" Leon shouted.

Nash looked at Leon with a smirk on his face. Nash put both of his hands against the table and stood up, he started to walk away. I grabbed the back of his shirt to stop him. He looked back at me.

"I'm Rosaria by the way."

He smile. "Well, nice to meet you Rosaria."

~Regular Time~

"Don't get your hopes up, I was hoping to do this mission alone." I said to Nash.

"Hey. We're a team, me and you. I ain't letting you do this alone. Rose, I thought we were friends."

I giggle.

"Well I just wanted to take a job by myself." I said.

"I ain't letting you." He said with his arms crossed.

I laughed.

"I shouldn't tell you anything."

We both laughed.

"Well, if we were to do a mission together, I think we should do this mission."

I ripped the request off the board and showed it to him.

He nodded.

"It has a fair reward of 200,000." I continued.

"Just enough to split, and for me to cover my rent." I continued

It was the mission to find and destroy the demon sword. How hard can that be?

"It's already getting late, we'll start tomorrow." I said.

"Alright. Meet you at your place." Nash said.

I nodded in agreement.

Zeros POV

I heard Rosaria. Where is she? Is she in trouble?

"Help!"

Rosaria screamed.

That's Rosaria.

"Rosaria I'm coming."

If I don't get to her, she'll get killed by the demon.

I ran as fast as I could towards Rosaria.

Rosaria, Rosaria!

"Rosaria!" I shouted

I sat up quickly, I was out of breath.

I sighed. I calmed down a bit.

"Thank god." I lifted my right hand, and rubbed the right side of my face.

It was only a nightmare, of... that one day.

I gasped. I rubbed my eyes.

I... had a vision, of Rosaria in danger. She's going to be in trouble.

My visions are never wrong.

I must go, and see her right away.
