Have you ever wanted to fade into the darkness? To slip away where no one will ever see you...

I ran across the ground, thinking. What will I do... Will Kohana even trust me... Or will they simply kill me... I mean... 'an eye for an eye,' right?" I felt the twang of pain, and yanked the Senbon from my arm, still moving. I turned around, throwing it back at them. That's when I sew that all of them were after me. I kicked it into overdrive, using large strides. I made it out of the hideout, and looked around.

"Kohana is.... that way!" I shouted. I turned, running into the woods. I hopped over the fallen branch, smiling at the air. "If luck goes my way... I find someone to tell me where Kohana is." I jumped onto a branch, but was knocked off when a blast of water hit my back. I caught myself, and continued to run. Finally, I bumped into someone.

"Missy, you better watch where your going!" The old women said. I scratched my head.

"I-I'm very sorry Mam. Would you happen to know where Kohana is?"

"Actually, yes. I'm going there after I get my grandson. He lives out here with his parents. Would you like to come with?"

I quickly looked behind me. "Yes Mam, I would love to."

The need to disappear grew inside of her heart...

Tenshi split up with the old lady and her grandson about a mile before Kohana. She walked into the woods, and sat there. The sky was dark, and soon, the rain began to pour. She smiled. It was the only way to mask her scent. She looked up at the clouds, letting the rain dribble onto her face. "This is what it feels like... To be alone?" She asked. "this is me... rouge? I have no where else to run... go to Kohana... and be killed... or return to Akatsuki... and be killed." The rain slowly began to downpour, and that's just when she let loose. She cried into her hands. Crying out all of that pain, all of that misery, that guilt. Then, slowly, she returned to normal. She was soaked, her gray hair sticking to her face. "I need to pay for what I've done." She said, standing up. She walked back out onto the path, and looked forward. "These are my final hours I guess..." She began walking.

She wanted the end to come... She didn't want to see the light...

Kohana Shinobi POV

I stood under my umbrella, waiting for something to happen. The rain continued to downpour, as if the sky was upset. I sighed.

"Weather got you down?" My partner said, laughing.

"Kind of. It's so boring doing this..."

"Yeah, but it's The third's or- Hey. Who's that?"

I looked ahead to see a girl, walking at us. She stood in front of us, and fell onto her knees.

"I surrender." She said, her voice in monotone. We looked at her, and signaled for someone to come. An anbu member landed, and immediately pulled out his kunai.

"Who is she?"

"That-"

"My name is Tenshi Hatake. C-Rank criminal. I'm giving myself up to the Village Hidden in the Leaves. I surrender."
