Pictured: Carter's tattoos. Obviously they won't be exactly the same as the picture but the wings were my main thought in posting this picture. I'll describe and explain all of Carter's tats in later episodes! Enjoy this spicy chapter ;)

Warning: Mature scene in this chapter! Skip the italicized words if you don't want to read it. However, you'll miss Selena and Carter's night together."The concert was cancelled, Sel," Carter told me, frowning slightly. "I guess there's a hurricane watch in Orlando."
I pouted. I was in the middle of doing my makeup and had already done my hair.
"What are we going to do now?" I asked Carter, pulling out a makeup wipe and erasing the work I'd just put on my face. I threw my curled hair into a ponytail and changed into a t-shirt and athletic shorts in my bathroom before walking out to lay next to Carter on my bed.
"Well, we could always have a fire by the beach?" Carter suggested, smiling at me.
"That's boring. We do that all the time!" I huffed, sitting up. "We need to do something special! It's your birthday." I frowned and turned my body to face him, sitting cross-legged. He put his hand on my knee and ran his thumb over my skin.
"Well I don't know, Selena, there's not much to do around here that we don't always do," he said to me, looking up at the ceiling.
"We could... have a pool party at your place," I suggested, wiggling my eyebrows. "Your dad is at work all night and it's a Friday. We could invite that sexy lifeguard, Mia."
Carter rolled his eyes. "I think you are the one that finds her sexy, not me. Besides, I don't really feel like hanging out with everyone. I just wanted to spend it with you."
"Awwww," I teased him, pinching his cheeks and cooing at him. "I have such a sweet best friend."
"Oh, shut up, Sel," he mumbled, rolling his eyes. "I just meant that with you, I can actually enjoy myself and have a good time. Everyone else around here expects me to act a certain way."
"Well, fine. It'll just be me and you, and tonight is gonna be the best night of our lives! Now let's go raid your dad's liquor cabinet."
Later that night, after I'd downed a whole bottle of Pink Moscato and Carter had I don't know how many beers, we sat by the pool, swinging our feet and listening to the music.
"Party rock is in the hoouuuse toniiiight! Everybody just have a good time!" I shouted, pumping my firsts in the air.
Carter laughed at me; there was a sparkle in his eye as he smiled at me, staring at me in adoration.
"We should totally swim, Montez," I suggested, my eyes widening as I got up, excited by my idea.
"You don't even have your suit, Sel," Carter reminded me.
"Who needs a bathing suit?" I said playfully as I removed my shirt and shorts. I was wearing a nearly-sexy matching bra and underwear set, since I had prepared to be going to a concert. Carter's eyes widened, and I jumped into the pool.
"Come in Carter, it's really nice," I said happily, floating on my back and enjoying the water.
Carter took his shirt and pants off and jumped in right next to me, pulling me up and acting like he was gonna throw me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist, laughing and holding onto him for dear life.
Our face were inches apart, and we laughed for a while until we realized how close we were to each other.
"Have you ever thought about how different we might be, if we'd met each other later on?" I asked him, tilting my head and looking into his green eyes.
