6. Old Memories

My middle school and early high school years were not the best years of my life.

I was heavier, the other kids pointing me out, making remarks and whispering. I was an outsider, afraid of looking in a mirror.

All throughout those years, I would sit alone, until I met my best friend freshman year of high school.

"Hi, is anyone sitting here?"

I heard a voice ask me, my eyes going wide, turning to the boy.

"My name is Hyuk."

The boy gave me the most genuine smile, I couldn't help but return it.

"I'm (name). You can sit here."

We have been friends ever since, and Hyuk has been through everything with me. He even came to the gym with me back when I was losing weight.

And now when I look in the mirror, I feel proud of myself. And now that Jin, an amazing, talented, beautiful idol, is talking to me?!

I turned to look at my phone on my nightstand.

*ding ding*
