JESS'S POV

saturday night was one of the most interesting nights of my life. first of all, i almost lost my virginity, second, i'm falling for daniel more and more each day. the fact that he actually started to beat the shit out of someone is crazy, i mean i doesn't seem the type to do that.

oh crap. my grandma, she doesn't know about the fight, neither does my mom. i just made a decision that i could be a role model, and that i could do something for the kingdom, and i just beat someone up. the whole kingdom is going to hate me, and people are going to criticize me for it.

i never knew that living in royalty was so much work.

i went over to the bathroom and realized i still had a black eye. i immediately grabbed my foundation and concealer and did my best to cover it up. i still had bloody knuckles, and i couldn't cover that.

i finally walked downstairs, hoping that no one would notice. i  walked down the stairs while i looked down at my phone, then i bumped into cecilia. "wow, your up early miss."

"yeah, surprising huh?"

"well, breakfast is downstairs. your family is down there already."

i nodded, trying to keep my head down hoping she wouldn't notice. "jess, are you okay?" she lifted up my chin.

"are you wearing makeup? already its so early! whats the special occasion." she smiled.

"um, well, basically." i stuttered.

"jess, you can trust me. you can tell me anything, come here." she lead me to the nearest couch.

i took a deep breath and finally told her everything. "wow, well i'm really glad that daniel was there to help you out. if it weren't for him, you know, that could happen."

"i know, but could you do me a favor and not tell my grandma. i already told her that i could be a princess, but with actions like that, she'll flip."

she nodded. "jess, of course. just do me a favor as well."

"yes, of course, i'll do anything."

"just please don't get into fist fights anymore." i nodded.

"thank you so much cecilia, i really do appreciate it." i hugged her and went over to the dinning room.

"good morning family, hello grandma, hello mother, and hello ashley."

"looks like someones in a good mood, how was the party? you came home late." mom asked.

"it was great in fact, probably one of the best i've been to in a while."

"well, you'll be going to a whole lot of parties now that your practically a princess. i have set you up with some instructors to help you find your inner qualities of a princess, and teach you how to be one." grandma replied.

i nodded. i ate for a couple more minutes and headed upstairs to change. today unfortunately was a uniform day. i looked in the mirror, and it made me look like i came straight out from harry potter books.
