Chapter 2

Short time skip to the day before your birthday
Your pov

You woke up at 7:00am and packed any last minute things, like your tooth brush, hairbrush, extra shoes, electronics and chargers, etc. At about 10am everything was done and set perfectly in your suit case purse and backpack. You decided to clean up a bit around the house. You cleaned your room, the living room, the bathrooms, the kitchen, movie room, and the gaming room. When you were done cleaning it was a good time to get ready so you took a shower and put on a red shirt and some plain ripped jeans

You put on some light natural makeup and put on some shoes. You decided to take your dog for a walk before Melissa came to pick you up. You walked around the block and got back home in about 15 minutes. You called Melissa and she was getting ready to pick you up and go for lunch. You sat down on your couch waiting for Melissa to come, to pass time you watched new girl on Netflix. When Melissa finally came to your house it was 2:00pm. You guys left the house and went out to chipotle, you ordered the usual. A bowl with chicken, brown rice, black beans, mild salsa, corn, lettuce, sour cream, and finally cheese. While you guys were eating you just talked about random things. After you were done eating you guys drove to drop you off at your grandparents house. Melissa pulled up to he drive way and you both got out. You gave her a big hug then walked into the house, promising to FaceTime her every night and text her everyday. When you walked into the house you were greeted by your grandparents and their 2 squirrels. Everyone thought that them having squirrels was weird but you loved them and the fact that they were so cute.

You walked into the room you had at your grandparents house and put down your suitcase and backpack. You set your purse down on the bed and walked over to the bathroom. You took a picture and posted it to Snapchat with the caption "loving this vacation already". You put your phone to charge and played with the squirrels and watched all the maze runner movies. You've seen the first two before but you wanted to see the third one so they rented it for you. The squirrels were cuddled into each of your arms and were fast asleep. After watching the movies you were a crying mess, your mascara was all down your cheeks and your tears cleaned small lines down your face taking your makeup with it. You put the squirrels in their cage and went to get ready for bed. You washed your face, took a shower, brushed your teeth and put your hair into a messy bun before getting dressed into some black spandex and a pink tank top. You crawled into bed and turned on your music, music helps you sleep easier. You fell asleep to the sweet sounds of Shawn Mendez's new songs.

When you woke up it was 7:28am, you turned off your music and got dressed. You put on a plain white t-shirt and some black ripped jeans.

You slid on some white vans and tied them. You decided not to do makeup so you just washed your face and moisturized. You brushed your teeth and straightened your hair. By the time you were done getting ready your grandparents were loading their bags into the car. You brought out your suitcase and backpack and placed them into the trunk. You got your headphones out of your purse and turned on some music. You ended up taking a nap without realizing because when you were at the cruise ship parking you were being woken up. You and your grandpa gabbed the bags and put them into the shuttle that took you guys to the actual cruise ship. After about a 15 minute ride you guys checked in to the cruise and got to your rooms. You got your own room and your grandparents got their own room. You decided to take a look around the ship as you bumped into someone.
Literally.
