Y/N POV

Today's the day I finally see Alex for the first time in months. I hope this goes well. I'm bringing David along for support, I hope he doesn't get upset. I exhale as I pull my shirt on. I put on something casual, since we are meeting up at a coffee shop.

I heard David jingle his keys, signaling he was ready to go. I take one more look at myself, "You can do this." I do it little fist pump and leave my apartment.

We pull up to the small coffee shop called Toby's Coffee Bar. It was really nice, everything was neatly placed. But it was quite empty. Which I thought was perfect, I'd hate to see a fan here right now. I mean that in the best way possible.

Me and David take a seat at one of the high tables. We noticed we were the people there, besides these two old ladies wearing yoga gear and drinking green tea. "You okay, babe?" David asks me. I look away from the two women and face him. "I'm really nervous," I say. He crosses his fingers through mine and rubs hand with his thumb. We hear a bell at the front door and turn around at the same time. Alex has arrived.

He gives an embarrassed smile, showing his teeth. His face is pinkish, it's adorable. "Hey."

"Hey," I say. My heart is already starting to race. I haven't seen this man in almost half a year. His last words to me were you know what bitch, fuck you.

"I owe you an-" Alex and I both in unison. "You can talk," I say. Seeing that he did make up the meeting, he deserves to speak. He gulps and breathes in heavily.

"Well first of all, hey David," he waves to David, who's been sitting next to me the whole time. "What's up man?" David says. He says it so friendly, like they're best friends again. He even has his signature smile on.

Alex begins to speak again, "I've needed some time to work out what I'm going through, but I finally understand who I am now." I give a glance to David who was also giving a glance to me too.

"And that is?" I ask.

"Gay." He says without a movement. For a second the coffee shop got quiet. Not even the machines made a sound.

"Gay? But you were so mad—"  I began but he cuts me off.

"Okay well let me explain," he continues.

He explains to me and David that for a while he was confused. And during our relationship he experimented with a guy named Garrett Watts. And that when he found out that David and I were cheating he was somewhat happy but angry for no reason, seeing that he's gay. Which is why he got a therapist/anger manager. He now lives in San Francisco, alone.

It took a while for me to process what the hell he had just said, because he just handed me five months worth of information that pretty much everyone else knew except me. Fun.

"I understand you need some time to think about this, you do what you need to do," Alex says. But I don't want him to leave again. I want him to come back to LA, and hang out with the crew like we all used to do before all this drama. If he still needs to find himself then so be it, but I miss him.

I didn't say anything in reply to Alex, I mean what could I say? That's it's okay? Alex looks at David, who then looks at me. I give him a look, telling him that I wanted to go.

"I think she'll call you..." David begins then notices I'm giving him a 'wtf' look, "... or maybe she won't?" I give him another look.

"Fuck it, I'll give you a call," they kind of laugh a little together at the confusion. I take the keys and go to the car. I notice David wasn't behind me, he stayed inside to say something to Alex. I guess he couldn't say it to me...

Alex POV

"Alex, man, I miss you," David says to me after Y/N leaves. Which is surprising. After what I just told them, he still misses me. Maybe he feels bad for taking my girlfriend.

"I miss you guys too," I say smiling a bit. David was my best friend. Yeah maybe we handled the situation horrible. But deep down me and David have a connection stronger than anything in the universe.

"Text me sometimes, okay?" He says, walking out of the door. I sit there and the barista comes to my table. "That'll be $35.58."
