Long lost boy

Most of the day went by very fast until it go to lunch. Finn started to show me around the lunch room until two of his friends came over. " Finn where have you been" said Wyatt. " We have not seen you all day!" said Jack. I just stared at both of them a little uncomfortably. "Guys I have been touring Avery around the school, she is new she came from New York." Finn said. "Hey" I said while waving my hand. " This is Jack and Wyatt" Finn said while pointing at them. " Where is Matt guys" Finn said while looking around. Matt? Who could that be. I mean I know a Matt who lives in L.A. Who am I kidding L.A is huge and Matt is a common name so who was I kidding. Soon I saw a boy walk to the boys and I opened my eyes wide. It was Matt! The kid I was best friends with everyday in the Summer. I mean I knew this kid since I was in diapers. I mean both of or Moms were friends. He saw me and said "Avery?" I then give him a big hug and he hugs me back. He then asked me "How have you been" I say "Good".  " I am so sorry I did not come and see you in New York it was just hard to go since these 2 years have been hard."  I then assure him and say " No, it is okay I went to a camp so I was not that bored but still missed you I mean you never texted me." He tells me then " I got a new number and lost all of my contacts sorry". Finn the interrupts and says "Nice to know you know each other but we should get going Avery I can show you some nice places to eat during lunch since the food here is not anything interesting." "Oh, Okay" I say. Finn seemed uncomfortable when I talked to Matt. Almost like he wanted me to leave just to get way from Matt. He didn't get jealous... did he?
