 The Anomaly...

"We dropped out of hyperspace within the distortion's reach. We do not have enough power to escape the gravitational pull." One of the Wraith wailed loudly over the commotion on the command deck.

"Stay close to the Queen." Rancor whispered to the Null-Wikca before he stomped off towards a command console. They had mostly stabilized the ship by this point, however it still vibrated subtly.

"What is the status of the other Hive?" The Female's voice roared from her perch. Sinisa watched as Rancor just pushed another Wraith aside.

"They appear to be trapped as we are. Both Hives are being pulled towards the disturbance!" Rancor's voice was infuriated as he answered the Queen. The male Wraith stuck his hands into the console and roared as the whole Hive shook around them. "I need more power! We are losing ground!"

"The anomaly has doubled in size, since we last scanned it. If it continues to grow at this pace, it will reach the village in a few weeks." Another Wraith howled. The Queen let out a displeased hiss. At the same time Sinisa gripped her chest. The feeling was faint, but the despair was unmistakable.

"Architect." Sinisa whispered, admits all the chaos around her. It was so faint, and it only lasted a second, but she was certain she felt him.

"Open commination's with the other Hive." The Queen hissed.

"We have an idea to free at least one of the Hive's. We do not have enough explosive ordinance to free them both. My Hive must escape this... we can bring your crew aboard?" The Huntress's voice was panicked and blurted out the commutation as soon as the connection was established.

"There is no need." The Queens voice was clam as she looked at the Null-Wikca next to her. "Free your Hive. Protect those we leave behind. As I know, you will." The Crimson Queen's voice remained calm even as the Hive shook around her.

"You will be destroyed." The Huntress's voice responded confused.

"If the Architect can survive, so will we. I hope, I am right about you y-o-u-n-g Queen. There are many I leave behind that will need guidance, serve them well. Set course for the heart of the anomaly..." The Crimson Queen cut communication in that moment, afterward's she continued. "...We are going through." She nodded slightly towards Sinisa's confused expression. Then the Queen turned her complete attention, to the safety of her Hive.

View screen's overloaded all around the room. Power conduits flashed as they exploded in the wall's. The last thing Sinisa could remember was clinging to the Queen's perch as everything shook violently around her. Then in a flash, there was nothing but darkness.

On the other Hive...

The Huntress waited until the Crimson Queen's Hive disappeared from sensor range, before she implemented her plan. Her Hive was trapped on the edge of the anomalies gravitational field. She hoped with a little nudge, and a bit of help from a few insane mathematical calculations. They might just be able to push the Hive Free.

Control Dart's where loaded with the necessary ordnance needed to create a big enough shock-wave. Once everything was put in place, they had little time to implement the plan, before hull integrity fell below acceptable tolerance's. The gravitational field around the distortion was enormous, it tugged at the Hive in way's no hull should ever have to endure. On top of that, the hull needed to hold against a shock-wave big enough to push the Hive free. No one was certain the plan would work.
