Chapter 9 Rescue

(This first part will be from Lena's POV, not y/n so enjoy)

Coldness

That's all I felt when I woke up

I see a shadow standing there

"I see you are awake, did you enjoy
your nap?"

I knew who it was

"Yes, I enjoyed getting thrown in a cell too,"

No reaction whatsoever

"I'm sure you missed Talon?"

"After what you did to me? Fuck no!"

"Watch your tongue,"

Who is she to tell me to watch my tongue?

"Before you ask, I don't know where overwatch is, and no I'm not rejoining you, and yes my boyfriend is coming to kick your ass,"

"You might want to rethink your second answer,"

Then I realized my chronal accelerator was gone

"How am I still here..?"

"We have a statis field around the cell, it works like a chronal accelerator except if you leave this cell, you disappear, but if you work for us, we can give your chronal accelerator back to you,"

Y/N POV

In what felt like seconds you and Winston had approached the talon base. "How did you find the base winston?" You ask him. "I simply tracked Lena's chronal accelerator, its like a giant homing beacon with the pulses it produces." (Thanks Jimmypd2 for adding that explanation <3) You jumped off, and took out the guards at the entrance.

You kicked the door open and sprinted up the stairs to the holding cells.

After a ton of shooting you had arrived at the door.

You opened it and cautiously took a step forward/

"Lena, are you here?"

"Y/N?" shouted a voice somewhere in the row of cells.

You found her and opened the door.

She practically ran you over and squeezed you with such force which surprised you since Lena didn't look like she worked out for a year straight, but it sure felt like it at the time.

After 2 minutes of kissing (and tongue battles) you separated and you were met by a pale Winston (Can he even get pale...?)

"W-Well Y/N the dropship is waiting," he stuttered.

Lena giggles extremely loudly. (enough to alert a certain spider)

All of the sudden talon troops converge on you.

"Of course, we probably should've realized if they were holding an ex-talon agent, they'd have more than 2 guards at the door."

Reaper the...well reaper, and widowmaker the ruthless assassin appeared from the shadows.

"Hello, monkey," said a raspy voice

"I'm not a monkey! I'm a scientist!"

And so began Reaper trying to fight Winston

Another voice rang out from behind

"Hello,"

You turn around to see Widowmaker with her sniper aimed at you

Suddenly a flash appears behind Widowmaker

"Out came the rain, and washed the spider out!" Lena pours a bucket of dirty water on Widowmaker who is now cussing in French.
(Let's not translate that...)

Widowmaker who is now trying to wipe the hair from her eyes, is met with a punch to the face

You turn to see Winston knock out Reaper by slapping him with a banana

You and Lena burst into laughter at Winston's method of a knockout

Soon you see a black mist engulf Widowmaker and carry her away

You had a feeling this wasn't the last you would see of them

You arrived at the dropship and Winston dropped you off at his old lab

After 3 hours of driving you arrived home and carried a sleeping Lena back to your apartment

Later that night after Lena woke up you kissed her on her soft warm lips

"I love you so much Y/N"

"I love you too Lena,"
