First Date

Kaycee got home and immediately sees wires going everywhere which she could assume was Kenneth's music stuff

This would normally bother Kaycee as she likes having her place clean and orderly but she knew Kenneth was moving in and didn't know all the rules yet

She walked into her living room area and sees Kenneth watching TV

"Oh hey Kayc I was watching some of your DVR stuff and you and Sean like watching a lot of home improvement shows" Kenneth said

She snatched the remote from him "That's because one day me and Sean will get married and move into an actual house and not this apartment so we need to learn a lot of stuff!" Kaycee said

"Why?" Kenneth asked

"What do you mean why? A house is so much better than an apartment" Kaycee said

"No I mean the married part" Kenneth clarified

"I don't understand"

"Why do you have to be married why can't you just move in together and be together" he asked her

"Well what did you see in the future with Bailey?" she asked back

"I don't know I figured we were best friend's why not date her"

"And what did Bailey see?"

"How would I know? We've only been together for... 8 almost 9 months" he said as he honestly never talked about this stuff with Bailey

"Well I always wanted to be married since I was a little girl it was a always a a dream of mine" Kaycee said

"I get that as I think every girl had that princess and prince charming dream but why now? You and Sean seemed fine without being married so why does the ring matter" Kenneth asked

"It's not the ring... Mostly... But it's just a statement!"

"A statement?"

"Yeah like if us two were to get married people that have been around us would be like 'those two used to hate each other and after all that happen they fell in love and live a happy life!' It's like a closing one book to start another sure the story is still going but it's a new journey" Kaycee answered the best she could as she never thought she had to explain marriage to someone

"Wow" he said now trying to think why Sean hasn't just married her already

"But obviously there's more that goes into that" Kaycee added

"Yeah... I know you hate me but I never hated you Kaycee" Kenneth said noticing the part where she said hate each other

"I don't hate you either it's just ever since we first met you just gave me a bad vibe" Kaycee said remembering the first time they met

"I get that sometimes" Kenneth said honestly

"But you said you would play me a song so let's hear it!"

"Actually I thought we should go on our first date now" Kenneth said

"Really?"
