" so where are we going oh Poseidon?" I giggle as he drives.
" It's a surprise."
"Oh really?"
"Mmhm..." He kind of hums. I love the sound of his voice even when he hums. Speaking of his voice.... I turn the car radio and mama by Jonas blue featuring William singe starts playing. And the god of singing of course couldn't resist.
" Hey, mama, don't stress your mind! We ain't coming home tonight, hey mama we gonna be alright dry those eyes-"
"Hey singing god open the windows!" I say over the radio as we hit the freeway. He rolls down my windows still singing loudly. "Hey, don't leave me to have all the fun sing with me!" He yells and continues to sing. " Your wish I my command I say sarcastically before joining him in the song. " Mama, mama, mama, hey!" This is another thing I loved about Lucas, there was never a dull moment with him around. I couldn't help but admire him. He really was a god. I loved his light green eyes and the way they sparkled with excitement. His short blonde hair slicked back into a mini ponytail the ends waving like grass in the air behind him from the breeze coming through the windows. His smile was enchanting as much as his voice. And then I realized something, I looked like an idiot. "Are we close?"
"Yea"
"Good."
I look out my window to the trees on the side of the highway. I imagine a pack of wolves racing with us. I loved wolves. I close my eyes and enjoy the breeze. I must have fallen asleep because in the next instant Lucas is shaking me awake.
" Hey sleeping beauty wake up, we're here." His blonde hair was now down kind of a mess, but a perfect mess. He wore my favorite crooked smile across his face dimples showing on either side of his mouth. "You gonna come swim with me or just stare at my face forever?"
" Yea, I'm coming. Just give me two seconds."
"K."

Lucas's POV

I left so Alize could take her clothes off to reveal her cute bikini. I mean, it would be awkward to just stand there and watch. Creepy even. So I decided to wait on the red beach towel I brought. It's been about ten minutes now. Maybe I should check on her?

I start to head back to the car where I left her with my head down watching my feet when I look up.
I can see her struggling to get someone's hand off her wrist looking kind of scared. I break into a run full speed to her. As soon as I get to her I realize it's Nate her ex boyfriend.

I don't know what exactly happened but I was suddenly filled with rage and punch him square in the jaw. He stumbles back into his friend behind him as I shake my hand. Ouch. Hes got a hard jaw. I look from my hand back to him to see him slowly turn to glare at me. Alize gently grabs on to my arm making me shiver just slightly as I turn in her direction I feel something hard hit the back of my head. "Lucas!?"
" I'm fine, Alize." I say rubbing my head. " Hey, Lucas." Of course, I forgot it's Nate.

"I told you to never touch her again, didn't I?" I say still angry.
" Yea, ya did, but did I listen? No." He responds and I lurch for him but Alize puts her arms around me, stopping me. She hugs my back tightly and I picture her eyes squeezed shut. I sigh. " He's not worth it." I hear her whisper. " I know." I whisper back turning my head in her direction. I turn back to Nate with his smug look. I want to punch him again. He sure as hell deserves it after wat he did to her before. Alize let's go and I turn to face her. "Still up for a swim?" " Yea, just not here." She says avoiding eye contact with him.
"K, let's go." Is all I say as I turn us both to my car and lead her with my arm around her bare waist. I open the door for her to get in and glare at Nate as I walk around to the driver's side. I don't really know what she saw in him, but I'm glad she left him.

She stays quiet in the car no doubt the happy day she was having crushed by Nate. What was he even doing? Why was he grabbing her? He had no right whatever it was. She wasn't his. She wasn't mine either. I look over at her saddened face. She looked beautiful no matter what. Wait, no, I was wrong... gorgeous.

*Ring, ring*
I grab my phone ringing and look at the caller ID. Jake. I accept the call and put the phone to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Lucas! Yo the pool is open you gotta come over Jess and I are throwing a BBQ party with my new grill. We got burgers, hotdogs, kabobs, dude it's gonna be lit!"

I sigh. " Maybe another time, I'm with a friend." Alize looks at me quizzically curious.
"Bring them with! The more the merrier! You know how Jess is"
"Yea, true. Hang on." I put the phone to my chest.
" Alize?"
",Hmm?"
" How do u feel about going to a BBQ party and swimming in a pool?"
" Yes! Food and swimming! It's a win win!"
