No one was coming for them. No one was going to save them. And on top of that, their packs would start a war for no reason.
After the alpha's speech, most of the rogues left the room but not before they received their orders of what to do now. When the room was empty except for two other men holding a bundle of fabric and a medical kit the alpha turned towards the omegas.
He picked up the chain and tugged at it ruthlessly, dragging the girl towards the exit like a dog on a leash. The two men followed behind with the boys. One held Jungkook by his hair while the other had a tight grip around Taehyung's nape and wrist after he tried to struggle against his hold.
Of course he would struggle. How dare this bastard pull Jungkookie's hair!
They descended down the same set of stairs they mounted earlier, the sound of the girl's chains leading the way.
"You will treat their wounds!" the alpha snapped at her, "And clean them up, this one looks like he was dipped in shit."
In no time they had reached the cellar and the alpha tied the chain to one side of the walls. The boys were thrown to the ground next to her as well as the clothes and the medical kit.
"I'll come and get you at dawn. You have time until then. Don't you dare try something funny. I know you're a two-faced bitch." With that the alpha slammed the door shut and it was locked from outside.
Taehyung immediately backed away from the ragged looking omega girl and pulled Jungkook to his chest as if trying to protect him from her. Even though she didn't look threatening at all this woman just caused a war by blurting out what packs they were from. So in Taehyung's eyes she couldn't be trusted. He kind of understood that she did it out of fear for her own life but still - she put both their families in danger!
"Let me see your shoulder," the girl said in her brittle voice. Taehyung backed away even more.
Apparently this person never learned how to approach kids because instead of trying to calm them she just kept moving closer, failing to notice that it freaked out the two boys even more.
"Stay away from us!" Taehyung shouted and the girl flinched, surprised that he had raised his voice.
Her voice became cold when she said, "I just want to treat your wounds." Or else they will hurt me or ... kill me.
"No! Do you know what you just did?!"
"He would've killed me if I hadn't told him where you're from, you saw that! But the war isn't my fault! Your packs would've fought each other anyways-"
"BE FUCKING QUIET IN THERE!" a rogue yelled through the closed door. Someone was left to guard them, they should've known.
"All I've done is buy you time," the girl continued in a whisper. "As long as they are occupied with organizing, planning and spying they won't hurt you ... at least not as much as they would if they had their usual freetime. I know you're scared. I am too, but if you want to survive this then you'd better let me treat your wounds. Because there are many more to come."
After thinking about her words for a few minutes, Taehyung finally gave in and let the girl tend to his wounds. He reluctantly let go of Jungkook and sat down before her. She removed the dirty sweater to expose the bruise on his shoulder and the one where he hit the tree. Taehyung shivered when the cold air met his warm skin.
This must hurt, the girl thought to herself, taking in the damaged and bleeding skin.
She was as gentle as possible when she started to clean Taehyung's wounds using the antiseptic wipes from the first aid kit.
