We were at the barrens and I was right, its part of the sewers. Even though its disgusting, I still went in because I didnt wanna look like a wuss. "Arent you coming in?" I heard Richie ask. He was talking to Eddie and Stan because they were just at the edge of the barrens. "Nu-uh, that's grey water." Eddie fought back. "What the hell is grey water?" I asked, a little confused and a little I-wanna-be-sassy. "Its basically... PISS AND SHIT, so, I'm just telling you! You guys are splashing around in millions of gallons of Derry pee" he said. Richie hadnt said anything so I turned to him. He was sniffing a stick that was I'm the water. "Ew" I said "W-what are you-" Eddie asked "Doesn't smell like caca to me senior!" Richie interrupted

"I-I can smell that from here!" Eddie kept arguing. "Its probably just your breath walking back into your face" "Have you ever heard of a staph infection?" "Oh, I'll show you a staph infection!" Then Eddie went on about germs. What a weird kid. Richie threw a bag at Eddie and he lost it. I just stopped listening amd went over to Bill. He was looking around with his flashlight and picked up an object. At first I didn't know who it was until I got closer and realized it was a shoe. I tried to get the guys attention but they kept going on. I even saw Stan roll his eyes. "GUYS!" Bill yelled louder than I did, causing their attention to face him.

"Shit dont tell me that's-" Stan was cut off, which made me a bit sad. That was really all he said the whole time. "No, Georgie wore galoshes" Bill said. "Who's sneaker is it?" Eddie asked. He didnt seem that scared but I could still hear the fear. "Its Betty Ripsom's" I said. I was getting so scared...
