"Yo Liv get up we gotta get ready" i say while shaking her.
"Yeah im up geez." She grunts while sitting up with a frown
"You got 20 minutes to showered and dressed vamos" I yell while walking into the kitchen.
"Morning" Abuelita says and gives me a soft smile
"Good morning" i reply and i turn to look at ruby whos asleep at the table.
"por el amor de Dios! Ruby get up!" Says Abuelita. I chuckle as Ruby lifts his head in an instance and glares at his glass of orange juice
"Ruby you will be showing Angelina and Olivia around school today" Ruby smiles "I would be hono-" Ruby stops when he sees Olivia enter the kitchen. I chuckle
"I think we should get going or else we're gonna be late" Ruby nods "Yeah lets go"
"Hey Ruby!!!" Someone yells from behind us. We all turn around and see a guy and a girl walking towards us. The girl speaks "Yo Ruby who are they?" And the guy nextdoor to her nods "yeah we never seen them before" Ruby sighs "These are my cousins, i mean not my real cousin but my cousins not by blood you know bu-" the girl cuts him off "ok Ruby we get it" she says while shaking her head, She turns towards us and holds out her hand "Hi im Monse and this guy next to me is Jamal we're Rubys bestfriends" i smile and shake her hand "Im Angelina but you can just call me Lina and this is my sister Olivia" we all smile at one another. We hear loud music and turn to see a Red Cadillac driving slowly down the street, Monse struts right into the middle of the road an holds her hand up in front of the car. The car comes to an abrupt stop and some guy sticks his head out "Hey, You crazy!!" She struts towards the car window and bends down then they start talking and the guy looks directly at me he nods to me then talks to Monse, Monse looks back at me and walks back towards us "Hey uh Lina Spooky wants to talk with you" "Spooky?" I question "Are you crazy she cant go over there!! He could hurt her!" Ruby says with wide eyes
"Aye mami come over, déjame hablar contigo por un minuto"
Heat rushes to my cheeks and i slowly make my way to the car window, I bend down and raise a brow "You wanted to talk" he licks his bottom lip "Whats your name mami?" He says while staring right at me, my heartrate increases but i try my best to look calm "Angelina and you?" He raises a brow "Everyone calls me Spooky but you can call me Oscar" he finishes with a smile ughhh hes so hot Wait tf "Need a ride to school?" He questions "Nah im fine thanks" i reply with a smile "i really need to go though so ill see you later i guess" i say and turn around "You will" he says loud enough so i can hear and drives off, a small smile appears on my face.
"Yo what the heck was that about?!" Ruby screams "What did he say!! Did he threaten you?"
I laugh "Guys we just talked, He seems cool" i reply with a shrug
"Cool?!?! He most definitely isnt!! He i-" monse cuts Ruby off and starts pushing him foward "Okay whatever Ruby we gotta go or we're gonna be late"
I look at Jamal in question and he just shrugs and we start walking to school.
