It's 2 am and Eden is done waiting for Mathew to come home. He's okay with him going out and coming home late, but when he doesn't tell her he's going out, it worries her.

All Eden has been doing lately is worry about Mathew. She worries if he's cheating. She worries what's on his precious phone. She worries where he is. She worries if he still cares.

To try and get her mind off of Mathew, Eden finds herself helping Jonah out with her wedding. The wedding is next month and Jonah is so excited, and so is Eden, but lately all she's felt is worry.

Eden has just washed up for bed as was about to get into the silky sheets, but stops when she hears Mathew's car outside. Eden rolls her eyes at her boyfriend before getting into bed and shutting off her lamp. Eden tries to sleep, but finds herself wide awake.

Eden's eyes then snap shut when she hears the bedroom door open. Eden listens as Mathew makes is way over to the washroom to get ready for bed.

As he gets ready, Eden's eyes finally shut and she's deep in sleep. When Mathew steps out of the washroom, he's changed into his pajamas and slides into the bed beside Eden.

Mathew then wraps his arm around Eden's waist and whispers a soft.

"I'm sorry."

The next morning, Mathew wakes up to an empty bed. Eden is no where in sight.

Mathew sits up from the bed and brings his hand up to wipe his eyes, but ends up knocking something off of his forehead. A yellow sticky note lands on Mathew's lap.

Mat,
I'm out looking for wedding dresses with Jonah. I'll be home before the game tonight.

~Eden

That's all he ever gets now. No hearts, no smiles, no I love you's.

Mathew doesn't even know what he's done to deserve the cold shoulder. Just then, Mathew's phone dings and he's quick to snatch it off the bedside table.

Isa:
Hey Mat, I was wondering if you were still down to get some coffee sometime?

Mat:
Of course, sunday sound good?

Isa:
Sounds amazing

Mathew smiles down at his phone remembering the girl from his hometown. She was his first love, but he doesn't feel the same anymore. She's recently hit him up and she made him laugh, so he decided to keep her around for a bit.

"Mathew?" Eden calls out through the house, expecting no answer back.

"I'll be there in a bit!" Mathew says as he shuts down his phone before going to greet Eden.
