"Yo Mats, you good?" Anthony asks as Mathew drops into his stall.
The boys got off ice training today, and lets just say, Mathew was not ready at all.
"Bro, my head is killing me. What happened last night?" Mathew questions as he rubs his temples.
"You don't remember?" Anthony asks Mathew as he slips on his hat.
"Not at all."
"Okay so you got so drunk you called Jackson and I over to the bar." Anthony starts and Mathew groans.
"And apparently, when you get really drunk, you tell secrets out loud..." Anthony says and Mathew's eyes widen.
"Did I tell you about-"
"Yup, everything."
"Fuck." Mathew says flinging his head back with a sigh.
"And you also told us some things about Eden." Anthony continues quieter.
"Like what?" Mathew asks with his eyes still closed.
"Like you still love her, and if she was in the same room as you, you'd get back together with her in a heartbeat." Anthony says with his lips tilted up.
"Holy shi-"
Mathew gets cut off when Shane busts through the door with a worried expression.

Before Shane can finish, Eden walks right into the dressing room with her bright smile. And just like that, Mathew was gone.
"Hey guys, good to see you guys again! Anyways, get to the weight room, coach is waiting." Eden tells the team with a smile.
Eden makes sure to give Mathew a quick smile before heading out of the change room.
"Well, let's go boys." Shane sighs, knowing he didn't get to the locker room fast enough.
Everyone filed out of the locker room, but Mathew and Anthony stayed behind for a bit.
