"So, let's go through a real quick recap." Zofia said. You've been in Zofia's room for about an hour and a half learning Polish with her. You've had fun doing so as it allowed you to get closer with her.

"Cześć is hello, obviously" you said. "Proszę is please, dziękuję ci is thank you, and przepraszam is excuse me."

"You're good at this. I'll have you knowing that it gets harder from here, though. Pronunciation can be a mouthful." Zofia informed you.

"It can't be too hard, I mean you're the one teaching me after all." you complimented, trying to make a move. At this point, you were certain. Zofia was the one you wanted to be with. Would she want the same though? You could only imagine as of now, but you set those worries aside to see where flirting would get you.

"I mean...I'm not really the teaching type, but the compliment is appreciated." Zofia responded. Compliments don't really faze her by the looks of it. Flirting won't really get you anywhere in situations like this. Zofia had a neutral look on her face as she stared off somewhere, most likely thinking about something.

"Zofia, are you alright?" you asked her. "You look like your not in a good mood."

"What do you mean? I'm just thinking about something..." she sighed in response.

"Just making sure. You have a concerned look." you said

"I'm just thinking..." Zofia sighed again. "...Do you mind if I tell you? I just feel like I need to talk to someone about it. You're the only one I can say this to without feeling embarassed." she asked, slightly ligthening up her mood.

"S-sure, I'm fine with it." you responded hesitantly.

"I've been having some problems with my sister recently." she went on. "As you can see, we've had many arguments. She says I don't give her enough freedom and that I'm overprotective of her..."

"You do associate yourself with her quite often. I know you two are sisters, but I do agree with her. She needs some time to herself. I'm sure that she's more than happy to be around you, but everyone needs a break from certain things. I understand that you have your worries for her, but she can handle herself."

"I guess you're right... I don't know how I didn't think of that myself. Thanks for the advice, (Y/N)." Zofia responded, feeling reassured.

"You're like a mother figure, always watching over those you care for both directly and indirectly." you commented. Zofia slightly blushed at this, causing you to blush as well.

"I always thought of it as sibling love rather than motherly, but I see that I'm quite protective of her. I'll talk to her about it later." she said. Zofia chuckled to herself for a little bit. "So that's how you think of me, as a mother? Polska matka jest dobrą matką is how the saying goes." she chuckled a bit more. You just looked away with a more noticeable blush in response. "I mean, it's not a bad thing. Don't feel too embarrassed." Zofia stated as she noticed you turn away. You looked back at her with more confidence only to notice her looks now. You just wanted to keep staring into her dark turquoise eyes. Her short brown hair was in such a neat condition. Her lush lips looked so kissable.

'God, she's beautiful...' you thought to yourself.

"Are...you alright? You've been staring at me with a red face for quite a while now. Do you feel alright? I have motrin in the cabinet if you need any." Zofia asked in that motherly fashion you called her out for. You snapped back to reality only now realizing that her looks captivated your attention.

"I-I'm fine, th-thank you though..." you sighed again as you turned away and your blush lessened.

"You've been acting quite strange around me, (Y/N). Are you sure there's nothing bothering you?" she questioned you in a curious manner. You wanted to tell her badly about your feelings, but you knew that now wasn't the right time. You only knew Zofia for barely a month now.

"I'm alright. Something just crossed my mind, that's all." you responded. The two of you conversated for what seemed all night, lying on the sofa as you did so and having a bit of Polish vodka Zofia had stashed away for certain occasions. Somehow, Zofia brought up the topic of what sort of women interest you.

"So, what kind of women interest you, (Y/N)?" she asked, a bit intoxicated from the shots you both had. You weren't anymore sober than Zofia was, so the question didn't really phase you that much.

"I like European women." you responded.

"No, I mean by nationality." she informed you with a slight laugh.

"I guess I like central and eastern European women like Italian, maybe Russian." you explained.

"What's your favorite type...?" Zofia asked more intrigued.

"Eastern European I guess. Slavs are pretty cool. The women are beautiful nonetheless." you said.

"Which country specifically?" Zofia asked again with even more curiosity as she downed some more vodka.

"Around the western area, like Poland or Czechia." you responded with more detail. Realizing that you just indirectly admitted to having a kink towards Zofia, a heavy blush of embarrassment formed on your face.

"You get drunk rather quickly, (Y/N)." Zofia commented after drinking what remained straight from the bottle of vodka.

"Hey, it's strong stuff. You're used to drinking it, not to mention the size comparison between you and me." you informed the large Polish woman.

"I suppose you're right, maybe I should've gotten a different bottle." Zofia teased with a slight grin.

"I can still handle myself" you said with a yawn. "What time is it anyway?"

"Around midnight." she responded, yawning as well. "You can take the bed, I'll sleep right here..."

"No, it's fine. I'll take the couch." you said.

"How about we both take the couch since we can't find a solution?" Zofia asked. You responded by covering your face with a pillow after flopping onto the couch as you dosed off.

******

"(Y/N), are you up?" you heard a voice ask you. Slowly waking up from your deep sleep, you turned to see Zofia awake and sitting up on the sofa next to you with a cup of coffee. You couldn't respond with anything but a yawn due to fatigue and your headache from the vodka you drank, but you got over it rather quickly.

"I am now..." you groaned.

"Sorry to wake you." she said. "How'd you sleep?"

"I slept pretty good, those drinks we had knocked me out. I'm not much of a drinker." you responded.

"Glad you slept well. I have some news for you though, Six needs us down in her office. She called me earlier about it. We have an hour to get ready." Zofia explained. "Do you want me to make you something for breakfast?"

"I'm fine, thanks anyway." you responded.

"No, really. I know you didn't eat anything filling yesterday. I don't mind at all." she stated in that motherly tone again.

"I'm fine, let's just go get ready..." you sighed as you stood up and stumbled into the bathroom to get yourself cleaned. After that, you and Zofia walked down to the main office to see what assignment awaited you. "Where do you think we have to go?" you questioned out of the blue, trying to make small talk so your walk wouldn't be awkward.

"I'm not sure, I'd like to go somewhere like Spain, but it depends." she responded. "Somewhere the two of us can talk without interruptions.". This made you think for a minute. How did Zofia feel about you? More importantly, what would happen if the two of you were alone for a day? You decided to put that thought to rest before you got too in depth.

"Spain's a nice country." you responded.

"Maybe we can go back to my hometown one day, I'd love to show you around." Zofia stated.

"Maybe when I'm fluent in Polish." you said as the two of you walked into Six's office.
