Chapter 6: The mission

You were abruptly awoken in the back of a police truck by a nudging motion on your arm. As you awakened, the first person you saw was Bandit.

"Sorry to awaken you, I hope you slept well. You're going to need it for the assault." he said.

"Where are we?" you asked, still unfamiliar with your surroundings.

"We're in the back of one of the police trucks. You fell asleep back at the plane and Zofia insisted on letting you sleep, so we had to carry you into the truck. We're already about 20 minutes away from the building here in Moscow." he responded. You were embarrassed. You started to regret staying up so late drinking with Zofia. It was still nice to spend time with her, but maybe it wasn't the best idea on a weekday.

"Sorry, I was tired..." you yawned.

"It wasn't all that bad, (C/N), don't feel too embarrassed." Bandit commented.

"Whatever you say..." you sighed. "So, what's the run down of the mission?"

"Well we're going to attack from all sides of the building. Doc and I will cover the main entrance, you and Zofia will cover the bakery entrance, and we'll meet up with Ela and Kapkan when we arrive since they were already stationed here. They'll be attacking the through the windows and balcony." Bandit briefly explained. You were pretty excited for this mission especially since you and Zofia would be attacking together.

"Alright, sounds good." you responded.

"Glad to hear, make sure you are prepared before we arrive." he said. Before you knew it, you were already there at the three story tall building. The place was surrounded by police cars and the ground was littered with the corpses of terrorists, some police bodies as well. Many injured officers were being treated further up the road.

"There must've been a battle out here." you stated.

"It sure looks like it. I'm surprised that they've had so much control of the building." Doc said as he stood by your side.

"It's a shame that there are so many bodies. If it weren't for the cops, we'd have to change our plan." Bandit added. "So, is everyone ready?"

"Yes." everyone responded in unison.

"Alright, so Bandit and Doc move in through the main entrance, (C/N) and I will attack the side, and Ela alongside Kapkan will siege the balcony." Zofia reminded everyone of the plan. "Where is Ela anyway?" Now that you thought about it, you weren't really sure either. You started to worry until you saw the green haired woman by the bunch of police.

"She's over there by the cops. Maybe something happened." you pointed out to Zofia. Ela came walking over with a worried look on her face.

"Sorry I'm late, Kapkan was hurt during the gun fight out here." she informed everyone.

"Schiesse...(fuck)" Bandit swore under his breath. "Alles klar(alright), change of plans. Ela obviously can't go alone. I guess she'll have to go with Zofia and (C/N). But please, don't get into a fight with Zofia, Ela." Bandit informed everyone with the rearranged plan.

"We'll be fine." Ela said as she glanced back at her sister. Zofia had a slight grin on her face at Ela's response.

"Alright, everyone go. Follow me, Bandit." Doc said before running off with Bandit.

"So the three of us, huh?" Zofia stated.

"I guess. Let's get going." you responded. "So are we going in loud or silent?" Your question was answered by gunshots in the distance followed by the screams of terrorists.

"Loud." Ela and Zofia responded in unison before breaching the doorway. Off the bat, two clumsy terrorists were dead from the impact of Zofia's grenade launcher. You dashed in and slid by the counter for cover and cleared out the remaining enemies.
