Whenever I'm in a high place I get this unnerving urge to jump. I'm not sad or suicidal but I constantly play out the scenario when I'm at a high altitude. I think of all the different outcomes of my death, how it would affect people, would I be remembered, etcetera.
I'm guessing that if you're still reading this and you don't think I'm crazy, it's because you have felt this. If you have, don't worry. It turns out that most people have this urge and it's called "L’Appel du Vide", meaning the call of the void. Basically, this is the reason that we think, " I should jump off this cliff", even though we know that would be a stupid thing to do.
I don't know, I find it fascinating.
