Laney's POV

I don't know how to tell them. I got to Corey's garage and they were all ready to start. I came in with sad face, but no one noticed. I sat on the couch and started jammin'. Then Corey came over and started jammin' too. Kin and Kon went into the kitchen and I heard a TV playing. "Core, hey, I need to tell you something,"

He put his finger on my lips. "Hold on, you hear that?" He started walking to the kichen. I followed him in there and I knew exactly what they were watching. "What how can you guys watch this with out me?" asked Corey.

"We're not watching it with out you if you are right here." smarted Kin.

"I don't get it, everyone just surf's and sings." I stated.

"Exactly," Corey sighed." sounds perfect. Wet Side Story!" I rolled my eyes. I was almost out the door when my mom came through the door.

"Laney, darling how are you? Ready to leave?" Corey looked at me.

"Lanes, what does she mean by leave?"

I looked at Corey and my mom said, "Corey, she is going to a more professional school." He looked at me with more confusion.

"W-what why?" I stormed out. "Lanes," Corey said following me "you can't leave!"

Corey's POV

What, she can't leave. Then she turned around and shouted in my face, "What choice do I have?!? I'm going the first in three generations to go to Yale!!! Look I don't want to go, but I have to, my family is depending on it!!!"

"But you're only 13. Why didn't you tell me?"

"Core, I tried, but I didn't know how!!! Look I care about yo-the band. And I'm sorry, but it's not my chose!"

"Umm, sounds like it is!!"

"You just don't get it!!" I don't thinks she gets it. Then she stormed over to play her bass. She plugged it into an amp. Then I plugged my guitar into the same amp. "Don't you think that dangerous?" Psh, girls.

"Nah." Then we both plucked on of the strings and we both got really shocked and we both passed out.
