Love poem

So this poem was also originally written by a friend of mine, he writes tons of poems but he doesn't have internet sadly so he's not on here so far as I know. He was struggling to straighten out the pattern and asked me to help but I'm not much good at "helping" so I was like, I'll just write a different version n he accepted it, so. But this poem is dedicated to him, I can do that becuz I wrote this one. 

To Daniel. 

 I wish for your hand to caress my face 

And tho feeling these thoughts makes my heart race

I still wish for your nose to brush my cheek

And thinking about it makes my legs weak

And I wish that your mouth would touch my lips

Embracing me in a breathtaking kiss

And my arms are wrapping around your back

You're pulling me into your loving trap

And the sound of you breathing in my ear

All of these feelings are bringing me tears

All this and more I know I can not gain

The absence of you is causing me pain

But I know in my heart that if I wait

Maybe with you you can walk through the gate
