TRAVIS POV
My dad came home questioning me about why I didn't come home last night. I told him that I went to a party and lost track of time. I didn't want to wake him, by coming in the house to late. He bought that lame excuse, as I made my way to my room to get dressed. After getting dressed I left out the house. When I stepped outside Dre was walking toward the car he pulled up in earlier.
"Hey man, heading out".
"Yea bout to head to the hospital".
"You ok"?
"Yea I'm good, bout to go see Jasmine and my mom".
"Ok is everything ok, I know your mom work's at the hospital, but why is Jasmine up there".
He filled me in on what happened to Jasmine, and asked me where I was off to. I told him I was meeting up with my friend tonight, before I told my dad everything in the morning. We went our separate ways, and once I got to the corner my friend pulled up.
"Hey there, I was starting to think you wouldn't get out tonight".
"Of course I was coming out, we need this time together".
"Ahhh your to sweet" .
"I'm trying".
"So are you ready to tell your loved ones about us"?
"Yea, it eventually has to exposed".
We drove and arrived at the house. I got out the car heading toward the door, and was instantly overwhelmed.
"What's wrong"?
"Nothing, just had a moment, but I'm ok".
"Are you sure you wanna go thru with this"?
"Uhm yea, yes I'm sure. We gone be good, but I have one concern".
"What's that"?
"What am I going to do if my dad puts me out"?
"Well don't worry about that, we will handle that when that moment comes".
We hugged each other, as I began to roll up. After smoking we dozed off to sleep.
Dre POV
I sat there by Jasmine side, as we talked and watched t.v.. The silence grew over the room as neither one of us had anything to say. She attempted to get up to go to the bathroom, but stumbled and fell to the floor.
I jumped up, "are you ok"?
"Yea, just in pain".
I helped her up, "maybe you should lay back down".
After I helped her back into bed Jasmine looked at me with tears in her eyes. "Talk to me what's wrong"?
"I don't know Dre, there's so much going through my head".
"Ok, well the only way to relieve yourself is to talk to me, it's me Jasmine, so just spill it" .
"I feel as though I lost you Dre, and with losing you I'm not myself. And through all of this you have moved on, your heart is with Tara, and I can't win you back".
"It's not a battle between you and Tara, I haven't stopped loving you. My only thing is how can we fix this, yes I do have a relationship with Tara, but my heart is with you".
"Do you really mean that"?
"Yes". I replied
"Well how can we fix this back to how it used to be"?
"I don't know, I just know it will take some time".
We continued to talk until she dozed off, I couldn't sleep especially since the sun was coming up. I gave her a kiss on the forehead as I left out to head home.
I arrived back at the house, but Tara was gone. I guess she decided to head home. I flopped down on the bed, as there was a note left on it.
It read: from Tara
I know we just started dating and I've grown deep feelings for you, but..........
Travis POV
We pulled up to my house, as I took a deep breath in, and made my way up to the door with my company in follow. I knew there was no turning back now, we were here. I stuck my key in the door as we walked in.
My dad made his way out of the kitchen, "why aren't you in school boy and who do you have in my house"?
"Dad don't get upset, but there's something I need to tell you. This is Brian he's my..............".
Jasmine Pov
I wake up to Dre gone as the doctors walk in for there usual rounds. I sat up in bed, feeling much better than I did yesterday.
The doctor walks over to me, checking my vitals. "How are you feeling this morning"?
"I'm feeling good doctor, ready to go home".
"That's good, that's good. We can definitely get that worked out, but we have a few things to discuss. Is there an adult we can have present"?
"Uhm no, I pretty much take care of myself doctor, I know the ends and outs.
Follow up with my doctor yada yada....".
"Ok, but that's not the issue at hand, I'm here to inform you that after some test we ran it is proven that you...............".
So I had to leave everybody at a drop.
What was in that letter Tara wrote Dre?
Who is Brian to Travis? And what was the doctor about to tell Jasmine?
