" And....here.....we....go. "

Aahana stood there transfixed, gaping at Ajay. Even Rishav was at a loss of words.

It was impossible for anyone to enter the house without being greeted by bullets. But, Ajay was standing right there, and he seemed to be perfectly fine.

"Don't move or I'll shoot you," roared Aahana, clutching the revolver a little tighter.

"Tch tch tch....bullets don't scare me anymore. You can shoot whenever you want," he replied, smiling.

His smile was darker than anything even Rishav had ever seen. It seemed like he had a horrible trick up his sleeve.

Everyone stood there in silence looking at each other. Ajay had a gun with him, but it was doubtful if he would ever use it.

"Why so serious?" he asked in an undertone, giving a chilly effect.
This time Rishav's revolver went up, aiming for Ajay's head.

"Tat tat tat let's not blow this out of proportion...." he said slowly, revealing the contents inside the jacket he was wearing.

And, there were a dozen of grenades and explosives attached to him, capable of blowing up the entire house.

Joker had really taken roots inside brain. And, now the plans he made were both destructive and effective.

"My madness was like gravity, all it required was a little push. And, you people pushed me to the edge real bad," he said smiling, as his hand slowly caressed the grenades.

"Do you really want to kill all your friends along with us?" asked Aahana, slyly.

"I walk my path alone, emotions like friendship mean shit to me."

"You seem to have changed quite a bit, brother," she replied, sighing.

"What the fuck did you just call me ??"

"How were your boarding school days? Were you alone? Were you left to rot all by yourself?" asked Aahana yet again, this time a smile spreading across her face.

Ajay for a moment couldn't think of what more to do. It was a nightmare to believe that this was the same girl he claimed as his sister once.

"Ajay....Ajay....Ajay just for the sake of your father's property we had to lie to such extent.

First adopting you, then taking care of your orphan ass. Then, tricking you into handing over your whole property. Then, paying your boarding fees. Then, living in a completely different city, with a different name.

Darn time and patience we had to spend on your worthless self, man."

Ajay felt like the everything was blurring in front of his eyes. And, there stood a small boy in front of him, an orphan with no one in the world. It seemed to him like the sands of time had reversed, altering the past.  His heart felt like cracking to pieces yet again. But, his guard wasn't down yet.

Although, Rishav thinking this as an opportunity headed towards him. But, with one swift upper cut and a hard punch to the face, Ajay quickly pinned him down, with the revolver aiming right at his forehead.

"You need a heart to feel pain, and mine worn out with scars had stopped working," he said, make his middle finger jiggle in front Aahana.

And, now it seemed like the tables really had turned. Aahana wanted to sound brave so she masked a voice of indifference.

"You can try all you want, but you'll never succeed," she said, with the fear letting itself be heard.

"Oh! Boggy woogy I'll fuck your whole existence for one piece of chewing gum," replied Ajay, landing two bullets in Rishav's shoulder.

He let out a blood curdling scream, shattering Aahana's attitude.

"Ok fine !! What do you want?" she asked.

"Where's my friend Nikki?"

"She's in the other room."

To this, a little girl came running in the room, crying but also laughing. She had a cut on her lower lips, and it seemed like she had been beaten up quite a bit.

"You came at last, Ajay. These people are very bad and even momma beat me up for crying," she said sobbingly to Ajay, hugging him.

"No one will ever hurt you again. I'll look to it personally," he said, caressing her lovingly, along with Rishav squealing under his other arm.

"Take Nikki and Diya and move out of this house now. You'll find two of my men standing outside. They'll take you to safety."

Mohit didn't even try to argue this time. He quietly almost carried Diya in his arms, along with Nikki by his side.

But, before coming out of the room he for one last time glanced at Ajay and said, "You better come out soon, because we'll all be waiting."

"And, we also have that family photograph pending," piped in Nikki.

Ajay, nodded to their demands smiling, before watching them move out of the house. The front door of the house could be seen from the room they were presently in, and Ajay quietly saw them leave.

"I-I did as you said, now please free him," said Aahana, breaking Ajay out of the trance.

"Very poor choice of words...." sighed Ajay, pulling the trigger. And, with one loud smashing noise, Rishav moved no more.

Aahana almost screamed seeing the only person she ever truly loved, laying motionless in front of her. All this happened in two or three fleeting moments, and all she managed to utter was "Why?"

But, the only thing she got in response was a loud clicking sound. Ajay finally went up to her, and looking straight into her eyes said....

"Everything burns."

Back here, moving out of the house Mohit found two officers waiting for him, with two three dead bodies here and there.

Rathode upon seeing them almost ran up to them. "Sir, we need to move out of here really fast," he said.

"But, won't we wait for Ajay?" asked Mohit, confused.

The tears he was holding back for so long finally came gushing out.

"He won't ever come out again," he said, crying bitterly....

It was a spilt second situation, as Mohit turned his head towards the house.

And, up in flames the whole house went, with a friend to be seen never again.

Goodbye Ajay.
